Whitney looked up and offered Mira and Tiger a smile. "Nice to meet you too, and good to see you back Tiger." She greeted kindly. Tiger offered Whitney a wave and looked at Cyndaquil.

Mira smiled. "Well. I'm here to challenge you and Tiger's here for a rematch... You wanna go first, Tiger?" She asked her friend, looking over.

Tiger blinked and shook his head clear. "Uh, sure." He said to Mira with a smile. He grabbed Cotton's pokeball as he planned to start off with Cotton.

"It'll be nice to get that rematch, Tiger. I hope we don't deal with the incident from last time." Whitney said kindly and glanced at Cyndaquil who frowned and looked ready to battle.

"We won't." Tiger said kindly and called Cotton out. Whitney called a Clefable out.

"Begin!" The announcer called out.

"Cotton start this off with a thunder punch!" Tiger called out, and Cotton nodded. She ran for Clefable with her paw sparking as she prepared the move.

"Clefable use a metronome!" Whitney called out quickly as Cotton grew closer and closer to Clefable. The pokemon nodded and moved its fingers before using an ice beam. The thunder punch missed and Cotton flew backwards sliding against the ground with a huff.

"Cotton you alright?" Tiger called out. Cotton nodded and shook herself out. "Good. Now use a power gem!" Tiger called out. Cotton nodded and used a power gem the small rocks from the move began to fly at Clefable knocking the pokemon back due to the power behind the move.

Metronome. The best move AND the worst move. Mira thought bitterly. She grinned at the power gem.

Cotton grunted in a satisfied manner. "Now clefable, use a blizzard." Whitney called out. Tiger blinked and looked at Cotton as the move was shot off.

"Cotton, hang in there and use signal beam." Tiger called. Cotton nodded and used the move just as blizzard hit. Cotton was frozen and Clefable rolled back from the signal beam. Both pokemon were low on health now.

Tiger looked at Cotton in concern. "Finish this with a metronome, Clefable!" Whitney called. Clefable began to move its fingers.

"Cotton break the ice, use a thunder punch!" Tiger called out quickly. Cotton grunted from the ice that covered her. She tried to break free of her icy prison with a thunder punch. The ice chipped away, little by little. Soon, Clefable's move was chosen, a flamethrower was heading for Cotton. Only one shot. Tiger thought to himself as he knew the Flamethrower would melt the ice, but Cotton would faint from this move.

"Keep it up, Clefable!" Whitney called out cheerfully. Tiger crossed his arms.

Now! Tiger thought quickly. "Cotton, use a power gem!" Tiger called out the last of the ice broke from the power of the move, ice shards and rocks from the power gem hit Clefable, but the flamethrower did its job. Both Pokemon ended up fainting.

"Both Pokemon are unable to battle, this round is a draw." The announcer called it.

"You wanted to use Cotton's thunder wave to paralyze Miltank didn't you?" Cyndaquil whispered to Tiger in concern.

Tiger recalled Cotton and glanced at Cyndaquil. "That was the initial plan, but we can adjust. You ready?" He asked gently. Cyndaquil nodded and jumped off Tiger's shoulder and onto the battlefield.

Mira winced and sighed. "...Well," She murmured. "You've got this, Cyndaquil!"

Tiger glanced at Mira for a moment and offered her a small reassuring smile. He turned his attention to the battlefield once more and blinked. "Alright Miltank, let's go!" Whitney called out quickly and her Miltank came out. It gave Cyndaquil an even stare, Cyndaquil returned it by lighting his back flames in preparation of the battle.

"Begin!" The announcer called.

Attract shouldn't work now that Cyndaquil and Rose are a thing. Mira thought, returning the smile.

"Alright, Miltank start this off with an attract. Get Cyndaquil nearly unable to battle!" Whitney called out gleefully. Miltank nodded and used attract on Cyndaquil.

"Attract...really?" Cyndaquil said in a dry tone and yawned when the move had no effect on him. He grinned at Miltank and chuckled in amusement at the Miltank's confused look.

"Cyndaquil, start this off with a flamethrower!" Tiger called out with a grin. Cyndaquil nodded and shot off a strong flamethrower. The move hit Miltank knocking her back.

"Cyndaquil must've fallen in love just like your Dratini." Whitney muttered to herself and looked at Miltank who was shaking herself out.

"Course he did. I mean, everyone eventually finds someone to be with, and Cyndaquil loves a Vulpix named Rose. She's in Orre with her trainer right now, but I'm happy to see them together when they are together." Tiger said kindly and smile.

Whitney nodded and blinked. "Miltank us a milk drink now!" She ordered, Miltank nodded and used the move. She began to recover her HP.

Tiger looked at Cyndaquil. "Alright bud stay still." He whispered and narrowed his eyes. Cyndaquil nodded, and widened his stance as he was on edge.

"Roll out!" Whitney ordered, and Miltank rolled towards Cyndaquil. The pokemon was getting closer and closer.

"Dig!" Tiger called out, and Cyndaquil used dig instantly vanishing before the move could make contact with him.

Miltank stopped using roll out and looked at the hole Cyndaquil vanished into. Tiger smiled and watched as the ground was disturbed just next to Miltank. The ground stopped moving when Cyndaquil was right behind the pokemon. "Now!" Tiger called out, and before Whitney could call a move, Cyndaquil burst out of the ground and shot off a flamethrower hitting Miltank right in the back and making the pokemon faint.

"Miltank is unable to battle! The winner is Cyndaquil!" The referee called it.

Cyndaquil smiled and shook his fur out. He went back over to Tiger. "Thanks Mir!" Tiger called cheerfully and smiled. Whitney nodded and recalled her Miltank. She healed the pokemon up for the next match.

"Are you next?" Whitney asked Mira kindly, and Tiger went to go sit down.
