The sage nodded and glanced at Bellsprout. "Bellsprout, start this off with a razorleaf." He said quickly. The Pokemon ran at Watt.

Tiger and Cyndaquil stopped near the ladder. "Pokemon levels are on the low side around here as trainers stop here on their first journey." Tiger said partially to himself.

"Does the level scanner work yet? You've been working on it for a while now." Cyndaquil asked and looked at the Pokedex from Tiger's head.

Tiger shrugged, "might as well test that out." He mumbled quietly and accessed the level scanner. "I mean it can only scan small areas for abnormal level jumps." He sighed and looked up towards the next floor.

"Slow him down with a thunder wave!" Mira called. Watt braced for the impact and used the move.

Bellsprout was hit by the thunder wave. It was paralyzed, and was affected by it's condition.

"Good, Watt, use thunderbolt!" Mira called, grinning. Watt sent the move over. Hori watched enviously from Mira's shoulder.

Bellsprout was hit by the move. It slid back and shook its head out in response. "Bellsprout use a poison powder now." The sage ordered. Bellsprout nodded and went to use the move.

Tiger looked at his pokedex and loaded the app up. It said it was scanning and soon it finished, the only over levelled Pokemon was that Rattata. Tiger raised an eyebrow and opened up the information on the Pokemon.

Watt squeaked in slight surprise and coughed as he was poisoned. "You're okay, go for a thunder!" Mira called, tapping her fingers nervously against her leg. Watt shook out his fur and used the move, taking damage from the poison.

Bellsprout was hit by the move, it squeaked in shock and fainted. "That was a good battle. I can tell that you and your Raichu are close." The sage said to Mira kindly and recalled his Pokémon.

Tiger narrowed his eyes as he looked at the information for the Rattata. "He had a previous OT." He mumbled when he noticed the Pokedex said released.

Mira smiled and gave a pecha berry to Watt. He accepted it with a relieved sigh and took a ravenous bite out of it. "Thank you. It was a great battle, yeah," She agreed cheerfully and stretched. She looked back to Tiger. "What was that?"

Tiger looked up and closed his Pokedex. "Huh? Oh uh nothing, just running some beta tests on this app I've been working on. Good news is that Rattata is the only high level here."

Tiger nodded in response to Mira and slid his Pokedex into his pocket. "Yeah definitely good news." He said with a smile. "I'm sure Hori is wanting to battle."

Mira followed, stretching. She looked around for more pokemon. Hori climbed down from her shoulder and stepped in front of Watt, ready to fight.

Tiger walked down a path to the next ladder. He looked at a Rattata, and his Pokedex vibrated. Tiger glanced at the Pokedex and nodded slowly when it read level 6. The normal level for the Rattata around here.

Mira tapped Hori and pointed at the Rattata. He nodded and waddled over. Watt stayed behind with Mira, watching. "We're good, right? That's not the same one."

"No it's level 6. Not the same one." Tiger said to Mira quietly and took a mental note to download the app to Mira's pokedex later. The Rattata ran at Hori with a tackle.
