Tiger chuckled in amusement. "I definitely didn't think he'd weigh so much. Though I managed. Snow on the other hand will never go near a rock wall again. Even the ones found at jungle gyms." He chuckled in amusement and climbed up the ladder to the second floor.

Tiger nodded and chuckled. "Yeah he would be a good climber. Though he'd have to build his upper body strength." He said in amusement. A Rattata ran up to them.

Mira nodded and was about to reply before she heard a faint "DIBS!" squeal from inside her bag. Hori jumped out, ready to fight.

Tiger laughed in amusement. "Hori don't over do it. The sages and elder will still love to battle you too." He said kindly and sat down to watch the battle. The Rattata ran at Hori with a tackle.

Rattata was caught off guard by the move hit. It shook its head and ran at Hori with a hyper fang. The move caught Tiger off guard. Rattata around here are level 3-6, why does this one know hyper fang? He thought curiously and remembered the day he ran into the high levelled Exeggcute when he found Cotton. He and Cyndaquil exchanged a glance.

Mira frowned slightly, squinting up her eyes in thought. That's kind of weird... She thought. I guess that the pokemon's levels around here are higher than I first thought.

Hori squeaked and slid back at the move, surprised. He used a Confusion.

Rattata was hit by the move. It shook its head and growled before running at Hori once more. This time, it used an assurance. "Mira! Get Hori back, or get him to dodge, that Rattata is level 19!" Tiger called out in shock. He hadn't even taken a look at his Pokedex, though he was completely sure of the Pokémon's level.

Rattata tried to run for Hori, but Cyndaquil got in the way and used a Flamethrower. The Rattata squeaked in shock and ran away. "What in the name of Arceus." Tiger mumbled quietly and sighed. "First that Exeggcute, then Sudowoodo, now Rattata."

"What do you mean?" Mira looked over sharply, scooping up Hori and hugging him in her arms. The Ralts just seemed confused and a little bewildered at Mira's sudden change of emotion.

Tiger flinched not expecting Mira's attitude to change. He looked guilty for not explaining this sooner. "I-I don't know what's going on but there's some Pokemon out here who're stronger than seen in their environment. On my first journey when I found Cotton and she joined my team, she ran into an Exeggcute that was level 21, however Exeggcute there are about level 10. When I got to Goldenrod a level 30 Sudowoodo attacked us, and Kibo gained a few levels going from level 25 to 28. I'm not sure what's causing this level jump, but I didn't think it'd still be going on. Sorry." He said quietly and looked away. Cyndaquil looked at Mira in a wary manner and jumped onto Tiger's head.

Mira sighed and shook her head, putting Hori on her shoulder. "It's okay," She mumbled. "Probably just some change in environment that's forcing the wild pokemon to adapt."

Watt flicked an ear curiously and looked around Sprout Tower, probably trying to find another pokemon.

Tiger nodded and continued down the path to the next staircase. He still felt guilty about not telling Mira sooner. "Maybe, but if the environment was changing Lugia and Ho-Oh would've told me." He said quietly and sighed. "Maybe trainers are releasing already trained Pokemon and those Pokemon are finding their ways back to their natural habitats." He suggested quietly. He waved to a sage he had already battled years ago.

"If you want. I mean I already battled him when I was twelve." Tiger said kindly and glanced at Mira for a moment.

The sage nodded a greeting and smiled. "Tiger gave me a challenge and all he had at the time was Cyndaquil. Are you ready to battle me?" He asked Mira politely.

The Sage nodded and grabbed a pokeball. "Very well then." He said kindly. "I'll choose Bellsprout."

While Mira was battling the Sage, Tiger went a tiny bit ahead to see what was going on with the Pokémon levels. He grabbed his Pokedex and loaded up the information on sprout tower.

“I choose Raichu. Watt,” Mira looked down at Watt. He jumped forward.
