"It was sort of." Tiger explained with an embarrassed sigh. "To be
fair, it was mainly for competitive battling." He explained with a
sigh. "I went there mainly because I wanted to brush up on how to
be a good trainer." He said gently and pet Cyndaquil on the head.
"You don't need a class for that. Feed them, treat them well, have
good morals. That last part can't be taught in a school, as
evidenced by the large amount of grunts that work for evil teams."
Mira replied flatly.
Tiger looked away and nodded. "True." He mumbled and shrugged. "I
went there mainly to review type matchups and status effects
though. I might've learnt everything I knew in the forest, but I
forgot a few basic matchups." He explained awkwardly. "When I was
seven I thought ghost types were super effective on dark types, and
in the end ghost can't effect dark, but dark is super effective
against ghost."
Mira nodded. "Ah, gotcha. I forget matchups from time to time, too,
so..." She shrugged. "Even though my
dad DRILLED them into my brain during lessons, I forgot a
few."
"It's alright, I mean Elm was more
shocked that I went to school. He didn't even know of my ability
until I was 15." Tiger said with a sigh and shook his head.
"Alright let's go to Sprout Tower." He said kindly.
Tiger laughed in amusement and ran outside. He walked down a path
that Cyndaquil and him took when Tiger was first travelling through
Johto. "Do you still taste sand?" Cyndaquil teased
kindly.
"Definitely." Tiger joked back and smiled at his starter.
Tiger glanced at Mira and smiled. "When I first came here, I was
tasting sand from the first failed capture I had. Cyndaquil teased
me when I mentioned that I was going to catch something in Sprout
Tower." He explained with a small smile. "I tasted sand from that
Sentret for a week." He chuckled.
Tiger nodded in response to Mira and laughed. "Definitely foul
tasting." He said in amusement and chuckled. He stopped outside
Sprout Tower. "I don't think I want to get hit by that move again."
He snickered.
Tiger nodded in agreement and walked into the sprout tower.
"Definitely would be a lot worse." He said gently. "Welcome to
Sprout Tower." He said kindly and looked at the swaying beam.
Tiger nodded and remembered the rock climb. "Yeah, honestly I
wasn't expecting to catch Snow and pull him back up. That was the
main reason I was out of breath that day." He said kindly and
chuckled in amusement.
"For someone so small, he's kind of heavy," Mira laughed. "I
remember when we were younger, he jumped on my back trying to pin
me down in a fight. I wasn't expecting someone so tiny to weigh as
much as a sack of bricks."
