I've played it like 5 times and lost every single time. I'm starting to think that the payout isn't worth it...

Is there some trick to it?

Yeah its worth it when you win, that's why it costs 500 game chips. You can get some good items, and even hoopa

While it does cost 500 to play, Most of the time when you win more game chips, you'll be getting 10K+ game chips. Keep in mind the odds of winning are always 1/9 (I would try to not pick the same box over and over, I think the winning box may be static.)

If there was a way to convert game chips to pokedollars then I would probably play it more :S
It's cool getting all those game chips if I'm trying to go for those legendaries, but my main focus right now is pokedollars lol... Thanks for the tip though @AuraBloodWolf maybe I'll get lucky soon ;w;

It's worth it if you have an abundance of game chips. For example, winning at hard concentration a lot gives you an abundance, so you can afford the 500 game chips. Plus, the rewards are too good to not play it.

i’ve only won a handfull if times and it’s honestly not worthy it. just mass click and do the slots as you have a much better chance of getting SOMETHJNG from that.

started out with around 20k chips have now 50k chips sometimes u win like 10/15k chips at once also won other things nothing too great yet though. but i keep getting more chips alone so doing it every 10 minutes if possible.

I'd say it's worth it, as it is one of the few ways to get a Megastone.

It's worth it for me at least. I mostly play it to get those shiny hoopas for my dex, but I've found it's worthwhile in the long run as well. The times you do win some game chips tend to pay back for the times you get nothing and also get you extra on top of that. I don't do a lot of other stuff at the Game Center as regularly as the Treasure Hunt and I keep going up in game chips slowly but steadily.

Plus there's the times you get some goodies like a megastone or dragon gems.

So, in conclusion, it can be quite disappointing short term but it's worth it long term according to my experience.

It is worth it since you can earn valuable items such a mega stones, even hoopla from it although it may be disappointing since there is a 1/9 chance plus you have to pay 500 game chips. Even so, it is worth it after a long time

its good if you play concentration on hard a lot, bc then what you have is a lot of expendable currency, i suppose. i got an enigma stone from it today so idk what that does but really im playing it bc its one of the few places you can sorta get dragon gems (you cant get them rumbling) so id say go for it but dont get your hopes up

It is worth it because you can get dragon gems. I've gotten 14 today. Also, there are some extremely easy ways to farm game chips.

its worth it for me so far since i got 15 dragon gems in total , a mega stone and a bunch of game chips..All I did was choose the middle chest over and over until i get some stuff,but still it is pretty hard to find some items.
