Yeah, that is because the guide hasn't been updated in a long time tbh. Alola is missing completely and a lot of new event Pokémon aren't listed either.

hi here c: I have a small breeding problem. I've been trying to get a Mareanie egg by breeding my male Toxapex with other water-type pokemon but when I do it always says "they prefer other pokemon" or "they don't get along" and nothing happens. I haven't tried ALL of the pairings yet, but it's getting tiresome. I'm open for suggests otherwise I'll probably have to go to the gem collector.

Are you sure they have the same first egg group? When breeding, Daycare Owner only cares about their first egg group. Not all Water type Pokemon have the same egg group. And it is recommended to have 2 parents with different OT (original trainer) to at least ‘get along’

Toxapex belongs to the Water 1 egg group.
Here you can find all Pokemon belonging to the same egg group.

Why is Nidoking breedable but Nidoqueen isnt? That just doesnt make sense

It has always been canon that nidoqueen isnt breedable. That isnt just a pokeheroes thing.

Does the Masuda method work in Pokeheros and how does it work because in the pokemon games you need one non-foreign pokemon and one foreign pokemon for the method to work, and I don't think PokeHeros has foreign pokemon (not that I know of).

No. Pokemon here do not come from different regions like they do in the games.
However, different original trainers does help with compatibility. More eggs. But no extra shiny chance.

Yes. However, make sure they're in the same egg group. If you're trying to get an event egg from them, use the event base instead. For the van bagon, breed it with a bagon. Slightly better chance of an event egg, only because you won't be getting eggs of another species. You'll get bagon & van bagon eggs.

Okay this is odd. I have two event pokemon (Summer Ampharos(m) and Autumn Ampharos(f)) and it says "The two seem to get along very well." But all I'm getting is normal mareep eggs. I put a normal Ampharos with my Autumn version before I got a Summer version and it took days and lot of normal eggs to get an Autumn egg. In less then a day I now have 8 eggs but they are all normal. Am I doing something wrong?

You're not. You can have the Summer & Autumn Ampharos in the DC. It's just that you'll have a chance of getting a 'regular' Mareep, Summer Mareep or Autumn Mareep if you have those two particular Event Ampharos.

I'm in the middle of an Event hunt myself over here (the elusive SM Banettenstein) and sometimes there's days before I get a Zomppet egg. Don't give up on what you planned.

Thanks a lot for this amazing guide!
The description of common characteristics of the whole egg group is so useful, it was hard to learn every pokemon's egg groups for royal tunnel, but remembering just the description helped a ton in royal tunnel.

Will Miltank's Pokemon game egg group work for this game? I'm wanting more and don't currently have a ditto to breed with and she's not in the Emera egg group listings unless I'm looking in the wrong spot.
