Noon

“Huh, well I came here to relax and to clear my mind. A friend told me about this place. He said it was the perfect place to rest and think about everything”

Natalia gave a little hop to avoid the rock Professor Cypress had kicked.

“I only arrived a couple days ago though. I’m still not sure of exactly what I can do around here... but the forest nearby seems like a perfect place to explore, doesn’t it?”

She looked across the berry fields. Natalia had never been too interested in berry farming, but she knew the basics and could (probably) manage to grow enough for her and Aube.

Cassie listened as the other two explained why they had come to Thres. Privacy and relaxation seemed to be the main points people came here. She wondered if her presence wouldn't be welcome. Why was she here? Joy was skipping along happily next to Natalia and Aube, which made her smile softly. That's why she was here.

"I came to..." She hesitated a bit. "I have two reasons for coming here really." She shuffled her feet a bit before continuing. "I travel to Poke Centers all over to make sure they are properly stocked and able to handle emergencies like Joy." The Audino heard her name and perked her ears up at her. "I try to visit the more remote places, so when I heard about Thres I figured it would be a good place to check." Stuffing her hands in her pockets and sighed a bit. "My brother has been changing a lot in our business since our mother passed, so when I do my checks I take a bit of an extension to get away from the family drama. Thres seems like a nice place to relax."

Cassie looked out over the fields. She loved her work; she loved being able to provide the tools to care for pokemon of all kinds. Sometimes she felt as if her brother was trying to push her out of Danver's United altogether; if that happened Cassie wasn't sure what she would do.

"Hi there!" Cassie raised her voice and waved as they came closer to the first person in the field- a guy with a Wingull on his shoulder. A bit further out was a girl with a Lycanroc at her side. Cassie hadn't seen one of those since coming to Kanto!

He was startled by the greeting, but composed himself with a quick breath and smile before turning around. "Hello! I see we've new faces and friends in town!"

His hands were stained a faint purple, from sorting the harvested berries. He had been carefully dividing up his stock into three baskets. Large and good, medium and fresh, and not-so-good-but-will-be-made-into-Pokemon-chow-later. It was a decent system, and kept his hands busy.

"Ah, my name's Kit. I've been here for a while." He said, as way of introduction. What was he to make of these new people indeed.

Noon

Natalia heard as Cassie talked about why she came to Thres. “Huh, family stuff” she mumbled to herself. Natalia thought it wiser not to make any comment about it and focused on the berry fields instead. Or well, she would have done it if her thoughts hadn’t been interrupted by Cassie’s waving.

Aube reacted to Cassie’s voice and turned towards the person closest to him, Kit. The Skiddo quickly went to Kit’s side and stared curiously at his berry stained hands. Natalia walked after aube and was now close enough to talk normally to Kit.

”Hey there.” She waved her hand and smiled. ”I’m Natalia and this is Aube”

Natalia pet the Skiddo and then made a gesture towards Cassie and the professor.

”These are Cassie and Professor Cypress. We’re all pretty new here as you probably already noticed”

Noon

Zenith made a small wave in acknowledgement. Re, however, puffed out his chest importantly. "I, Re!" Zenith mumbled something to the small bird, and Re calmed down. Zenith withdrew, intending to avoid conversation, while listening intently. Zenith wondered what this new acquaintances real name, he had never known anyone named Kit. Maybe it was his real name, Zenith didn't know.

Noon

"Right, got'cha." He tried to smile, but seeing the professor leave just as soon as he was introduced was a bit rude in his opinion. Oh well, people came and go in this town anyway. Taking it personally would be rather bad. "I'd ask what you're doing here, uh, Nat--can I call you Nat, Natalia?"

Soare huffed beside him and he laughs.

"So uh, I gotta get these delivered. Would you mind giving me a helping hand?" He quickly amends, "If you're up for it, I mean."

Evening

Natalia saw as professor Cypress left. She thought it rather odd since he'd seem really open for conversation and meeting new people before but, well he must have had his reasons. She did feel a bit awkward now though, she really hoped Kit hadn't taken it bad.

"Yeah, I guess you can call me Nat. Some of my friends do, but most people just call me by my full name. I find it terribly formal though." She smiled slightly and then continued.

"So, where do you have to deliver them to?"

Natalia looked around and saw the berry fields and few cabins. She had been almost sure the berries were harvested by each person so she found it strange that Kit wanted to deliver them. Anyway, she was always happy to help and it wasn't as if she had anything else to do.

(sorry for not making it clear, Zenith is still there, he's just not really talking that much)
Evening

Zenith starts to concentrate on the conversation again. Delivering stuff? Zenith wondered whether the people who he might meet while running a small errand could benefit him. Zenith quickly spoke before the task was given all to Natalia. "Oh, uh, I'd like to help as well." Zenith attempted to look helpful. He eyed the berries. Surely they couldn't weigh that much.
