Re flies up to Joy. “Re!” he squawks again. Re eyed the poffins. “May have?”
“I have quite a bit of expensive equipment. I came out here for some privacy, but... there seems to be a flow of people coming in. Just earlier, I saw a few people talking. I’m currently researching Porygon, when I’m done with that I’ll leave and go to Johto, unless I can handcraft an Up-Grade, which requires... but you probably don’t want to hear about that.” Zenith motions over to a cluster of boxes, and then to a smaller cluster. “That’s my research equipment and that’s the stuff you can touch, over there.” Zenith goes over to his research boxes, which had more opened then the other group of boxes.

That prompted a laugh out of him, just whose idea was it to stand around talking near a field anyway? A skittish stranger who didn't seem open to friendly talking-distance led to this situation in the first place. "You're right. Guess we should go our separate ways for now. Not that there's much to walk away from here either."
Whistling, Kit grins when his Wingull returns to perch on his shoulder, dropping a basket into his hands. "I'm off to harvest. It was nice meeting you Cory!"
He turns his attention back to the fields, starting to examine the plants and growth, trying to see which he needed to prune and which fruit would be ready for consumption.

As Diglett had wandered off to check out the locals, Fregi and his two remaining Pokemon were stuff in a state of mild confusion.
Fregi: "Where did that Diglett run off too, this time? I swear... "
The man huffed for a moment, it seemed this wasn't the first time the inquisitive Pokemon have disappeared the moment it was freed from its Pokeball.
Fregi: "Ragna, c'mere boy.... Go sniff him out!"
Ragna: "Grrrf!"
The Houndour propped up fully, rushing toward the clear borrow trail and followed it, its nose pushed forward as it ran. Fregi had a blank moment for a second or two.
Fregi: "Tracking a Diglett ... Why did I assume it so hard, all the time!"
Chi: "Cu...~"
The Cubone gently facepalmed as it coo'd a 'laugh'.
The two soon followed after the eager Houndour in search for the Diglett.

"Sure." Cory shrugs at the last part, disregarding everything else he had said. It wasn't like she had anything better to do anyway. She turns to the berry crop she'd planted the day she came, examining the small berries that were beginning to form. '
"Kit," she starts with a breath. "You can only harvest your own berries, right?" she says in almost a shouting tone in case he'd left.

Fregi then returned to the cabin he was squatting in collecting his supplies and effects and making for the trip around Kanto. His cubone excitably following behind even occasionally shooing off the rare Butterfree.
(Closing emoting for my char, found the only one Pokemon rule a tad restricting for my personal opinion)

Joy hesitated only for a moment before happily sharing her poffins with Re. Cassie was glad Re wasn't afraid of Joy; they had encountered a few pokemon in their travels that seemed to not trust her with her odd markings. "Don't wander, ok?" She said before going into the cabin.
Cassie worked on the larger pile while the Professor talked about his Porygon studies, and wanting his privacy here in Thres. She resisted the urge to apologize again, instead just listened and put away some of the belongings. "...But you probably don't want to hear about that." He said, which made her raise a brow.
"I don't mind." She shrugged with a smirk, "I'm naturally curious." She made quick work through two of the boxes already, breaking them down as she went and stacked them against a far wall. "Didn't Silph Co. create the Up-Grade originally?" Asking, she had a vague memory of Silph Co. being located in Saffron City- which was just South of Thres...right? "Going all the way to Johto seems like a long way to go for an item if you could get it closer..." She hmm'd to herself, wondering if Danvers United still had a standing contract with Silph; it had been far too long since her brother let her even glance at the books.

It definitely hadn’t been loud enough, she thought to herself. The girl she saw was now inside the cabin and the Audino was (playing?) with a Chatot.
Skiddo looked at Natalia and pointed towards the two Pokémon using its head. Skiddo had always been very playful and she knew it wanted to meet the other Pokémon. She smiled to the Pokémon and said
-”Ok, ok. You can go play, but first let me introduce us to the other trainers”
She fixed her hair a little and cleaned some imaginary dust of her clothes, then she walked towards the porch. She knocked the door twice, this time making sure it was loud enough for them to hear her.
-”Hello? Hi, I’m Natalia. I wanted to... uh-
Well what exactly did she want to do? She wanted to meet them, but it would be really weird to just say “I wanted to meet you”
-“I wanted to see if there was anyone here who could... tell me some things about this place”
It wasn’t entirely a lie, right?

Zenith shrugged. “Many people say that they don’t mind, but they always have a pained expression towards the end. Porygon-2 isn’t in the original Kanto dex, so I thought I’d best go to Johto. If you really want to hear my desultory thoughts, I need to first import another machine, or make it with a lot of iron and silicon, then I need an energy source, of which Thres seems to be lacking, other then solar, which would require voltaic cells, or a turbine, which I don’t think I packed. Then I need to build the other parts, which requires other stuff. So what do you do for a profession?” asked Zenith in order to fill any silence.

Cassie listened while the Professor went onto explain more of his research to her. She wished there was some way she could help, but she doubted she'd be very useful. "...So what do you do for a profession?" He asked as she put away a few books.
Before she could answer there was a knock on the door followed by a girls voice, "Hello? Hi, I'm Natalia. I wanted to... I wanted to see if there was anyone here who could... tell me some things about this place." The girl seemed a bit unsure and hesitant.
Cassie smiled and went to the door, seeing a Skiddo now joined on the porch with Joy and Re. "Hi." She held out her hand to the girl, "I'm Cassidy, you can call me Cass or Cassie." She motioned to the Professor. "Sorry, but seems we are both pretty new to the area ourselves. Professor, you said something about hearing a few other people, right?" Turning back to Natalia, "We could both go looking to see if any of them are more informed about the town? I have a few questions myself." Hesitating, Cassie looked back to the Professor. "Oh, unless you'd like me to stay and help more?" She had already breezed through a good amount of the boxes for him. "Or I could come back and help once I'm settled..." She thought out loud, more to herself.

Zenith hesitated. "Ummm... I overheard a little, it seems they were pretty new as well. There was a boy and a girl, they seemed to be talking about farming." Zenith looked towards his various boxes. "I'm not in to big of a hurry. They were somewhere over... there." Zenith waves in the general direction where Kit and Cory where. "I'm Professor Cypress, by the way." Zenith added. Zenith shifted his feet. "I suppose I could go along with you guys."
Re looked towards the Skiddo. Re puffed his chest out importantly, and preened his wings. He introduced himself, by saying, "Re!"

Natalia was slightly surprised to see Professor Cypress. While she was very used to seeing and even traveling with other trainers, it was rather strange to find a professor, specially in a place as remote as Thres.
She turned towards skiddo, who had joined the Chatot and Audino. They seemed to be introducing themselves. She gave a quick look at the room. It was full of boxes and equipment whose function she couldn't even try to guess.
"I'm Natalia, by the way." She smiled and held out her hand. "Nice to meet you Cassie and, um, Professor Cypress"
She realized too late thet her greeting had been a bit too formal. Oh well, she was never sure how to act in front of older people.

"Great!" Cassie chimed as Professor said he would join them to search for the other residents of the town. She shook Natalia's hand and smiled as she made her way back out onto the porch of the Professor's cabin.
Joy stopped with a poffin mid-way to her mouth when she noticed her and tilted her head in question. "Audi?"
"Looks like you're making some good friends- want to see if we can find some more?" Cassie asked her partner who jumped up happily. "I hope you shared some of your snacks with this nice Skiddo...?" Joy looks between her bag of poffins, Re and the new Skiddo before holding out her hand and offering them the last two from her pouch.
Cassie shielded her eyes to try and see out to the berry fields and could make out two figures within shouting distance from one another. "I guess that's where we should head, then?" She asked the other two, motioning to the fields as she stepped off the porch and her pokemon followed close behind.

A good enough mood to stop analyzing what had happened in that earlier conversation with Cory. Almost as though he'd forget about it, given that it was a rather strange encounter to him. Not quite the usual stuff.
As he turned around with his harvest though, he was surprised to see more Pokémon and a few people near a cabin, some thirty or so feet away. Goodness, just how many new people were coming into the town today?

"I'll just stay at the back while you guys do the introduction stuff," Zenith muttered. He had never been much good with strangers, even though he had just volunteered to meet more strangers with a group of people who had just been previously strangers. "C'mon, Re, let's go." Re took a moment to grab one of the poffins before flying up to perch on Zenith's shoulder. Zenith shifted his feet, waiting for one of the other's to take the lead.

Natalia turned around to see the place Cassie was talking about. She could see two figures around 30 feet away in the middle of the Berry fields. There were probably other pokemon around too, but she wasn't exactly sure of that.
She started walking towards the berry fields and looked back at Skiddo, who was now holding a poffin on its mouth.
"Come here Aube, we're leaving. " She smiled as the Skiddo gave a little hop and walked at her side.
"So, how did you guys get here? You know, Thres isn't exactly an easy place to come by,."
Natalia was really curious about how could she meet so many new people in such a small town. She had expected to see a couple of people who had been there for some months, but apparently everyone was just arriving.

As the three began walking out toward the berry field and the other inhabitants on Thres, Cassie's Audino trotted happily along side Natalia's Skiddo Aube. It wouldn't take them very long to reach the fields so Cassie kept a light pace with the others while looking around at the expanse of the fields ahead. She never would have guessed they would be this large- hidden away and not seen from the outside.
Natalia asked them how they all came to be in this remote Town and Cassie had to chuckle. "It wasn't the easiest thing to fine, I will admit that. I head about Thres from a few elders in Lavender Town as I was doing a check on their small Pokémon Center." She stressed her arms above her before continuing. "We got lost a few times... I was hoping I could find someone whose been here awhile and ask which cabins were available."
She looked over her shoulder to the Professor, "I know you came to research Porygon in a peaceful setting- but you've been here for atleast a day maybe?" She asked thinking about all the boxes that were moved in.

Zenith nods. "It's been about a day. I came here when the University let out, one of my students who is also my research assistant told me about this place. I don't know how, but they recommended it. They're staying behind in Sinnoh. I'll be back in Sinnoh after summer is over, then after another year I'll try to find a place in Johto." Zenith kicks a few rocks on the ground. In an attempt to see about how quiet and private the town really was, he asked "What do you plan to do here?"
