we know that in pokemon, we can trade shoal salt and shoal shell for a shell bell. and since in pokeheroes shoal salt and shell are not much in use since it is only used to trade a water stone to leah (wherein we can just buy waterstone in shop and etc. ), why not make us able to trade lets say 100 shoal shell and 100 shoal salt for a shell bell?...
and why not make shoal shell and salt more useful by trading it to leah for a better item other than waterstone? ive got a ton of shoal salt and shell in my bag...

The same can be said for Rare Candies, Great Balls, Ultra Balls, Dubious Discs, and the Leaf Stones.

That does bring up a great point though and it really brings up a good topic to discuss. This suggestion would pretty much make it worthless to try and buy a Shell Bell from Emera Square. Would this suggestion be worth it if that's the cost?

As @RAZPberry states, this suggestion would make Shoal Shells and Shoal Salts much more useful, which I see as a great thing. It's always nice to make good use out of useless items. Currently, all we can do with these items is trade them back and forth to get the other item (trade a Shoal Salt for a Shoal Shell) and of course, to get a Water Stone, which we can already buy at the Item Shop pretty cheaply. Pretty much the best thing to do with them is to sell them at the Item shop. But even then, they don't sell for a lot. These items are arguably the most useless items in the game!

This suggestion not only allows users to get a Shell Bell in a new way, but it'll also drastically raise the value of Shoal Salt and Shoal Shells. Since both items are very easy to obtain at Emera Beach, I think we should up the number of Shoal Shells/Salt that can be traded in order to get a Shell Bell so that Shell Bells don't drop in price and they still are difficult to obtain. Maybe 500-1000 Shoal Salt and 500-1000 Shoal Shells can be traded to get the Shell Bell. But the number can obviously be changed if that's too much/still too small.

Admittedly, I am a bit mentally exhausted, so I don't see any downsides besides the fact that nobody would buy a Shell Bell from Emera Square anymore.

The positives here are that users will have a new way to obtain a Shell Bell and Shoal Salt/Shells will finally be useful. I also don't foresee a major change in the PH economy

Does anyone else see any downsides that I overlooked? Could I also get a confirmation on the PH economy part? It's safe to say there won't be a major change right?

The quantity should be much much more though like 1-2k of each

I think this is a good idea because the shells clearly have no use. But then the Shell Bell in Emera Square (worth 2,000 Festival Points) wouldn’t be bought. Maybe like an all-time exchange with Leah that requires 100 Shoal Shells?

I already discussed that point a bit above and while that would a pretty major downside, I believe it's worth it.

I do think 100 Shoal Shells is crazy low and very easy to obtain, which would make the Shell Bell drop in price. The number would have to be much, much higher and should probably include Shoal Salt too.

they're really really easy to obtain....but also, pretty useless... :p So yeah I agree that SOMETHING should happen...
