My suggestion is to add a go up button near the [Q] button so that we can instantly go up in the forum

No support. Use the scroll bar on your laptop or whatever it is that you need to do on mobile to scroll up. I see absolutely no point in this.

No support, reason already stated. It's not hard to scroll up/down.

No support.
This would be handy if there was 15+ posts on each page. But otherwise, no. It's not hard to quickly use the scroll bar.

Just refresh if it's that hard to go up. Like the others, I don't support this.

No support.

Sites that I've seen use this feature are usually very heavily based on forums where posts can either be five paragraphs long or a single page can hold a bunch of posts. This site however doesn't usually hold a lot of text/posts on each page of the thread, so there isn't much need for a speedy way to scroll past everything.

And like stated, if you want to get back to the top quickly just refresh. Almost as good as a go up button if not just as good.

Is it really that hard to scroll? Is your hand that you use the mouse for broken? It isn't really that hard to scroll. Maybe, if a page has 10 5 paragraph posts, but it isn't really that hard the drag the bar either. No support...

No support. Pressing the top of a screen on a mobile/tablet instantly goes to the top. And it's not hard to move your finger to go up...

mojoryan2003: There are no real downsides to this (or not ones I can think of), but there are no real positives, either. It'd be nice to have, I guess, but there's no real point. The only people who'll have trouble getting to the top at all, are mobile users, and there's already the refreshing solution as that takes you straight to the top.

No support from me. It's not hard to use the arrow keys on my laptop for scrolling. The pg up and pg dn keys work well, as do the home and end keys. And when on my phone, a flick of the finger is more than enough to get it to scroll to the top with minimal effort.

Tablets are much like the phone, just with a hint more effort to put into it.

I don't support if I don't see a reason for it, and with how easy most devices make it to scroll up, I don't see a reason for this.

I'm now going to give a reason for my support, fan clubs sometimes are hard for me to scroll all the way back up on mobile for me because they have long conversations

Adding onto the already mention ways to scroll up and down fast: if you have a keyboard, you can always use the Page Up and Page Down keys for fast scrolling, just like the "Home" key (going to the top of the page) and the "End" key (going to the bottom of the page).

I'm using an iPhone, and I can just quickly swipe down and I'll be at the top of the page straight away :P
It's actually easier to scroll on mobile phones.

Back to the main discussion, kinda no, there is no real point of it. It is easy to scroll on any device.

I sometimes use the Touch Pad, and that's easy, too. (like Toothie said, you can quickly swipe down to get to the bottom of the page.)

Unless there is another reason, no.
