Yas smiled in amusement, and chuckled slightly. "Thanks." He
said gleefully, and swallowed a mouthful of fish. "Hey, Kair,
will we be friends even when we're both dragonite on the
island?" He asked suddenly, thought there was an excited
shimmer in his eyes as if he couldn't wait to become a Dragonite
and explore the world.
"Of course!" Kair answered immediately. "We'll be the
strongest, coolest dragonite duo the world has ever known!" She
butt him playfully, smiling brightly.
Yas laughed and nodded, "That'd be amazing! Would it make us
legends?" He asked playfully, and remembered the cavern
underwater he wanted to check out later.
"We're gonna be friends until the very end, Yas! You and me
versus everyone else!" Kair growled unthreateningly.
"...Okay imagine that growl, but, like, more dragon-y."
Yas laughed in amusement and nudged Kair cheerfully. "Yeah we'll
be the most intimidating and strong dragons out there!" He said
happily and did a mock growl as well.
Yas nodded, "yeah! We're gonna be the strongest Dragonite in all
the world!" he said gleefully and nudged Kair cheerfully.
Dragonair's gaze seemed to darken for a moment, but she didn't
admit it. Instead she smiled, and nudged both Dratini. "You both
will be strong and powerful Dragonite one day but not today."
She said gently.
"Yeah, but it'll be at least SOMEWHAT soon!" Kair pointed
out happily with a small flick of her tail. "Until then, we'll
just get stronger and stronger with the other dratinis!"
"I'm sure you will." Dragonair said gently, and glanced
towards the rock where the leader usually stayed. She then yawned,
"well I'll leave you two alone, just keep it down alright."
She said gently and slithered off.
