Yas was going to suggest now when he noticed his mom was watching them. "We'll go tomorrow." He whispered kindly. "How about we go find one of the elders and see if they can tell us a story now." He suggested cheerfully.

Kair nodded. "Maybe that one legend about the three birds. I've heard from the Dragonair that it was a cool one." She suggested cheerfully, swimming ahead slightly.

Yas laughed cheerfully and followed after Kair quickly. "Hey wait up! You might be younger than me but you're still faster!" He laughed gleefully as he made his way to the elder's cave.

"Sorry, sorry! I just like listening to the elders," Kair grinned, skidding to a halt. The Dragonair who never evolved fascinated her, and listening to them interested her more than anything else in the cave.

[idea what if a Dragonair was a partner for a previous, now dead, leader, and will try and warn Yas that he'd have to stay a Dragonair in order to stay with Kair. Though this'll happen a bit later in the rp.]

"It's okay. I wanna listen to the elders too!" Yas said gleefully, and swiftly caught up to Kair.

"Okay, where do we start first?" The other Dragonair [gonna call him Hum]. He glanced at the other Dragonair.

Kair nodded cheerfully and looked back to the elders. "Well, I suppose we should start with Lugia, the guardian of the seas and oceans. He is very closely connected to the birds."

(I am COMPLETELY making this up as I go, but I did find a bulbapedia article to help xD)

(Making it up as you go along is the best thing at times! I was already planning on doing that, so if what I post seems improvised, it is, and just roll with it XD)

"How is he closely connected to the birds? Is he their dad or something?" Yas asked curiously.

Hum looked at Yas and chuckled in amusement, "the legendary birds listen to Lugia because he is the other who keeps peace between them." He explained kindly.

[not taking that keeping peace thing form Pokemon 2000 X3 especially if it's the first Pokemon movie I saw, and is my absolute favorite one.]

"Keeps the peace? What do y'mean?" Kair tilted her head slightly.

"Lugia guards the birds in return for their help in running the ocean. Articuno and Moltres created and maintained the seabeds and water while Zapdos creates the currents in the oceans." The Dragonair explained gently.

[alright XD Kanto will be the next region the group visits, and you can help me come up with the plot. maybe involving the legendary birds, and Lugia going missing?]

Yas smiled, "yeah! I'm sure we'll see them one day when we're both exploring the world!" He said gleefully.

Hum frowned, but didn't say anything. He nodded, "yeah you'll both meet one someday." He said simply.
