Tiger laughed gently at Mel's comment. He then looked at the
journal. "It's from Thora! Maybe there's a way to snap Lion out of
his brainwashed state" he said partially to himself. He then sighed
and rubbed the back on his neck when he thought of the way Lion
acted in the souvenir shop. "Thanks" Tiger said kindly to Jax and
looked at the pokeballs.
"If I send a postcard it will most likely be a request to bail me
out of prison," Mira chuckled in response to Mel. "Oh, thanks Jax!"
She grinned, putting the ultra balls away.
Z rubbed her eyes as she tried to wake up. she looked at the
journal Mira had given to tiger. "What's going on?" she asked "wait
thora's journal? how did you get that?"
"Oh!" Mel snapped her fingers. "That's right, I forgot! When I was
battling Lion, he didn't remember you for a while. He remembered
what you were afraid of though, and he said he was 'afraid of
losing you again'." She mused, glancing at the pokeballs. "Thanks."
She said cheerfully, tucking the pokeballs into her pocket.
"I got it by pushing my way through at least thirty grunts and
locking myself in on some weird... Lab... Place. Yeah I wasn't sure
where I was," Mira shrugged. "I was looking for something to fix
Lion--something physical, like a serum. I found that instead."
Tiger blinked and visibly flinched. He put the pokeballs away, and
sighed heavily. "Lion took it the hardest when I went missing. He
uh, didn't forgive me for a long time. Six years to be exact. He kind of began to
call me a liar when I told him about Ripple Forest, the only one I
explained everything to at the time, and he sort of betray me by
telling his mom about the silver wing, which in turn got to Frost."
He admitted quietly. "It was only until Ecruteak did I have a
chance to prove that I didn't disappear on purpose. I mean who
wants to be scared for life, and have their Pokémon taken away" he
mumbled bitterly and shook his head in an attempt to clear it.
"He's afraid that if something happens to where one of us were
brainwashed or hurt then we'd go back to the way everything was.
This is why we need to save Lion" he said quietly. He knew that
deep down Lion was afraid of Electron.
"We can't do anything about it now though! We're all still
healing and tired" Cyndaquil squeaked in defeat.
"Was there anything good in the journal? Because we could always
try and create a serum to remove the mind control from Lion.
Technically it shouldn't be that difficult, right? Plus, science is
something I'm sorta good at. One of the few things I'm good at,
actually." Mel mused thoughtfully.
"I say we spend some time here figuring out what exactly we need to
do before we try again," Mira suggested. "That way we can properly
heal and fix ourselves up while planning an attack where we don't
run in blind."
(Everyone's back at tiger's house; they just timeskipped, and mira
is showing everyone a journal that she stole)
Z picked it up and flipped through the journal when she found
something that confirmed her theory "Yep no serum but she used
electroshock therapy to the brain. It causes memory loss if hit in
the right places and it's very painful also don't ask how I know
how it's done." she explained and closed the journal with one hand.
"She most likely used her electric ability."
Jamie muttered something about only having a couple or so pots
through the night and would go and buy Tiger some more in a little
bit. "There is nothing wrong with coffee. Plus I finished a few
dress designs that I do believe are fabulous." He mused to Drew
before looking over at Z. That does not sound good."
Cyndaquil growled angrily, and shook his head. "That's awful! I
mean I thought Rocket was bad with their machines, but this 'Team
Electron' is a whole new type of insane" Cyndaquil snarled
crossly.
Tiger walked outside and climbed into a tree to look around the
backyard. He grabbed an oran berry from the tree and watched as
Raikou and Marron played with the soccer ball.
"Rainbow Rocket and Electron tie for worst." Jax said from the
couch, admiring the firestone he had found on his run. "Isn't this
a firestone?" He asked Caitlyn, holding it up to the light.
"Nah man, Plasma wins by a landslide." Mel muttered. She shook
herself. "Fun. So is there any way to undo electro-whatever
therapy?" She asked, glancing at Z.
Marron tripped and rolled with a burst of laughter, hopping back to
her paws to shake herself off.
"Then we need to find a cure.* Cyndaquil said crossly as he
thought of Lion being stuck in that state, and sat back to lean
against a wall.
Tiger looked down from the branch and laughed in amusement when
Raikou gently tackled Marron. "You're it" he barked
playfully and ran towards the tree.
