"I've heard of people getting memory back by getting another shock
to the opposite side of where it caused them to lose it." Z said
"but it could also cause death."
Mira tapped her fingers on the counter and slurped a few more
strands of spaghetti. "Maybe..." She hummed. "Well, what reverses
electrical current? Maybe that could be an alternative."
Cyndaquil nodded and thought for a moment. "Problem is how will
we figure out what side he was hit with, or what thing can reverse
the electrical current." he muttered quietly.
Mel frowned and tapped the table thoughtfully. "So you want us to
figure out which side of Lion's brain was fried, and then fry the
other side?" She asked dryly.
"What? No way!" Marron laughed, shaking herself before
running after Raikou. "You'll never get away from me! I'm the
fastest!" She giggled.
Cyndaquil shrugged "maybe it'd be best to find out more and
research it" he muttered. "Hey wait Mira! What if instead of
the small lake nearby we can talk Tiger into going to olivine city!
There's a huge part of the ocean that you might love" he
suggested kindly. Hoping that this would be a great way to make the
group relax from the fight the day before.
Raikou barked cheerfully. "If you're the fastest then why are
you behind me!" he laughed.
"Well if we do reverse it we could completely destroy his memory,
in order to make a memory the brain sends a pattern of electrical
signals and if it were reversed it could cause the person pain and
forget things much easier and could even forget how to breath." Z
explained, getting a shocked look from Glacie and Scar. "What? I
learned it from keryem."
Cyndaquil flinched "if Lion were to die, or lose his memory
completely from this. Then I don't think Tiger would forgive them,
or get over it." the fire Pokémon muttered darkly. He then
nodded in response to Mira. "Tiger's out back if you want to
convince him" he said a bit more cheerfully.
"Would it be safer for a psychic type to help him regain his
memories? That way we don't run the risk of him dying?" Jamie mused
to Cyndaquil. "I get that it would take longer but that out weighs
the pros of shocking the other half of his brain given the cons of
doing so."
"I'm agreeing with Jamie on this one... But I'm dropping out of the
conversation. Off to convince Tiger!" Mira chirped, and went
outside. "Hey, Tiger!"
Cyndaquil nodded in agreement with Mira. "Yeah we might do your
plan, Jamie" he said kindly and followed Mira outside.
Raikou looked up and barked a cheerful greeting. He ran over to
Mira, and looked like he was going to pounce, but Tiger jumped to
the ground and tossed the tiny legend an oran berry. "What up?" He
asked with a slight yawn.
Jamie hummed before going to wake Robert and Ro up. "Come on. Mira
is convincing Tiger to take us to Olivine City." He mused as he
shook Robert and Ro awake.
"Alright, we are up." Robert muttered as he sat up.
