Yes, I'm aware that revamps aren't a priority, and that the spriters have limited amounts of time which could be used for spriting new events, but I think the Mega Giratina sprite looks very awkward



- the wings are angled weirdly, I can't really describe it, but the back wing should be smaller given the angle, not to mention that they should be lower (I think moving the front wing down to the second of Giratina's gold thingies should do)
- the second and third gold thingy shouldn't overlap, they're supposed to have more space (and the last floppy one is awkward)
- the first and last leg (from right to left) are the same but flipped, without editing the shine.
- the head is facing to the left (in fact, it looks a lot like Giratina Origin's head but cut off and edited), the neck is facing a bit more diagonally to the front but the front legs are facing a more 45° angle
- the tail shouldn't bend like that, naturally, it should bend down and behind, and the spikes shouldn't face us

(I can draw a sketch during the weekend to illustrate what I mean)

In all honesty, though, I think it would be better to remake the entire design since it takes many elements from the original forms (origin's head, altered's neck and body, origin's tail), with the only original areas being the wings (which are also similar to both its formes: altered's large wings and origin's long wings with spikes), its head spike and only 4 legs (which detracts from Giratina's similarities to the devil with 6 appearing prominently in its design)

No support. Its really just a personal problem. Mega Giratina looks fine and even if some parts of the sprite are "overlaping", you can still make out what is where.

Definitly not as bad as some other sprites that were here...

Ah, yes. The good old Mega Gyarados. How you doing bud? Long time no see.
Anyways, I feel like fixing Mega Gyarados was a bigger deal than fixing Mega Giratina because it's a real Mega evolution, not a fan made one. Anyways, what if one day there really is a Mega Giratina (say in a Diamond and Pearl remake)? They'd have to make an entirely new sprite for the new Mega. I will admit, it does seem a bit odd, but I am not really bothered by it.

As in my first post, it's not just the overlapping bit, but a bunch of other problems. But if we're going to keep saying "it's not that bad", then none of the sprites will get any revamps. I know revamping old sprites isn't a priority, but at least I can raise the issue so that it might get fixed later

But even a fan-made sprite should still look anatomically accurate. I admit, it looks a lot better than the Mega Gyarados sprite, but still.
The second point doesn't really have to do with the suggestion though, since Mega Giratina existed before I made this. When it comes to that time, I guess Riako and will figure out what to do with that.

No support. I'm pretty sure the Spriter put hard work into spriting a entirely new Mega. They can't just turn around and change it just because you dislike it. There are probably other users that might actually like this design anyway. I personally don't mind how Mega Giratina looks.
