"Please. That's nothing. Listen to this. 'Mega evolution fuels its
brutality, and it may even turn on the trainer who raised it. It's
been dubbed the blood soaked crescent.'" Mel said. "Salamence is
brutal. Yikes."
I... See... Curse you, Rose. Roy thought, a tear coming to
his eye. He desperately tried to change the subject. "H-hey. What
about Mimikyu Busted Form? I hear the Dex entry for that one's
pretty interesting."
Mel glanced at Tiger. "Its totally your choice. Riu and I are still
working on mega evolution." She said, finally feeling better about
the stones in her backpack. "And busted form? I'm not getting
anything.." She tapped her pokégear impatiently. "Come on.." She
grumbled.
Riu seemed to sense Roy's distress and glanced away.
“Er... is charizard safe to Mega evolve? I heard it has two Mega
options.” Victor asked nervously, trying not to disclose the fact
that both of charizard’s mega stones were in his bag at the time of
speaking.
"No idea, my pokégear stopped loading." Mel sighed, tapping it
impatiently. "It probably just has to do with the bond between
trainer and Pokémon. I dunno."
Tiger shrugged and sighed. He looks at Pidgey. "I'm sure Pidgey
will be fine now. I think Rocket was after it because of the
megastone" he said quietly.
"Why else would Team Rocket be after a Pidgey? Unless it knew a
rare move or it was a shiny, of course. Besides, Team Rocket is
more Rattata than Pidgey. Regardless, Mega evolution is nothing to
be rushed." Roy said, wanting to change the subject as soon as
possible. He sighed, then added, "So... What are we doing now?"
"Which town are we in again? I lost track, Johto seems weird and
different." Mel muttered, glancing around. "There's probably
something to do around here.."
"Yes, I want to go to the Azalea gym." Victor said, taking out his
own gym badge case. The first and the third slots held Falkner and
Whitney's badges, while the second slot was empty.
