The Gible, by that time, had found its way into Roy's bag, and started eating the berries inside until a Poke Ball rolled out and hit the Gible on its head. The Gible was warped inside the Poke Ball, which wiggled 3 times before capturing the Gible.

Rose saw Cosmo, and asked, "What kind of Pokemon is that? Also, you best return your Charmeleon. Rules of the battle. Red Card means switch out for the opponent. Just saying."

And yes, I know the red card rules." Victor said, recalling Flare and making up the information on Cosmoem Evolution at the last second. Blaze was the randomly decided Pokemon who was sent out to battle Klefki. Thank goodness I have 3 Fire types in a team of 6.

Now I want a Psychic/Bug Cosmoem Evolution that looks like a majestic butterfly

"Hm... Doesn't quite look like a Bug Type... Then again, Chargabug(or however you spell it) doesn't look like a Bug Type either. Anyways, since, uh, this is taking a while... Return, Klefi! Go, Delphox!" Emerged from the Poke Ball was a shiny Delphox, confused as to why it was being let out early.

Mel, knowing full well that Victor was making up the information, simply nodded along. "Much cooler." She agreed, scrolling through her pokégear. Riu yawned and leaned against her.

“Delphox?” Victor asked, as he looked at Delphox. A first stage fire starter versus a final stage one... Wits must be used here.
“Smoke screen, and then crawl inside that Delphox’s fur like a pest!” Victor commanded. Blaze used smokescreen, and owning to his small size quickly crawled inside Delphox’s dress-like fur. He then bit on Delphox’s skin to hold strong.

"Not bad... Not bad at all. Delphox, Fire Spin, then the second it lets go, use Future Sight!" Rose called out, while her Delphox spun around waving its stick up and down to create more options for damage upon the release of its skin.

Blaze listened, and began to rip the hair on Delphox's scalp to make it lose its concentration.

"...Well then, I forfeit." Rose said suddenly, returning Delphox. "You're pretty tough, even with a disadvantage. So, I have a prize for you." She reached into her bag and pulled out an Egg. "This is a Togepi egg. Take good care of it for me, will ya? Later. Bye, Roy. And congrats on your new Pokemon, I guess." Rose rode off on her Roller Blades, heading to Goldenrod City.

Blaze walked over to Victor once more as the trainer accepted the egg. He managed to say "Thank you" before Rose went off to Goldenrod.
"That Delphox should wash more often..." Blaze sighed. Victor looked at the egg. "I think this egg could go to Oak since I have a full party currently... he'd be thrilled to have a Johto Pokemon of his own." He decided.
