"Good move. Fortunately, I'm always prepared for a status ailment.
Eat your Lum Berry, and use Swords Dance again!" Rose called out to
her Mimikyu, who nodded and quickly ate the berry. It then started
sharpening its claws for more attack power.
"More attack power, but it's leaving itself open for attack." Mel
noted, crossing her arms. "A good strategy, though Mimikyu could
take lots of damage."
"Well then, Iron Tail!" Victor commanded, going for the super
effective move on Mimikyu. He knew that the first move wouldn’t
affect Mimikyu much due to the disguise, but he needed to get that
disguise off.
"Now that Mimiking's Disguise is gone, I suppose we could start
attacking. Shadow Claw, now!" Mimiking nodded, dealing the now
extremely powerful attack onto Volt.
Volt sped away from the shadow Claw, But was hurt by a portion of
the move. "Speed training did Volt well." Victor commented.
"Iron Tail that Mimikyu into oblivion!" He then commanded, and Volt
jumped on Mimikyu with a series of Iron Tail attacks.
"Mimiking, block as much as you can, then use Shadow Claw when it's
open!" Rose called out to her Mimikyu as it surrounded itself with
its claw, then struck.
"Hm..." Rose thought for a moment, after making sure her Mimikyu
was got to battle. "I got it! Use Double Team, then Play Rough!"
Rose called out to her Mimikyu, who was low on health. It obeyed,
increasing its evasion and jumping in to barrage the Raichu with
many attacks.
"Volt, use your Rock Volt Tackle!" Victor commanded, pointing to
some rocks in the battlefield. Volt jumped away from Mimikyu, and
coated himself in electricity. The Raichu then charged towards the
pile of rocks, striking them with Volt Tackle, sending a pile of
electrified rocks towards Mimikyu. The rocks also protected Volt
from any sudden impact from Play Rough.
Victor looked proud on using his trusted improvised move. "There
are so many electrified rocks that Mimikyu is bound to be hit."
After the rocks cleared out, Mimiking was revealed to have fainted.
"Return, Mimiking! Go, Klefi!" Emerging from the ball this time was
a Klefli, who, unlike Mimiking, looked completely ready to fight.
"Volt, return. I'll need you later I think. Go Flare!" Victor
commanded. Volt walked back to Victor, and he sent out his
Charmeleon.
Flare growled and looked at Klefki.
"Flare, use scary face!" Victor commanded.
Mira glanced over at Mel and Lucario. She was suspicious for a
completely different reason than Lucario's odd hatred of
fairy-types, and Toka could see that. She dove into Mira's bag and
came back out with her pokedex. Mira took it gratefully and quickly
scanned both the Klefki and Lucario. She already had a Charmeleon.
"Let it go, Mel. He's probably just trying to look out for you,"
Mira suggested, tapping on her pokedex. Toka nodded. "Besides. I've
never been a huge fan of fairy-types myself. But I partially blame
that on the fact that I didn't know they existed until last
year."
(That's actually true xD I always wondered what people were
talking about when they said fairy type until I learned it's an
actual type)
Tiger walked into the gym, ignoring the others. He walked to Bugsy.
"Tiger! Welcome to the Azalea City gym" the leader said kindly, and
nodded. "Have you come for a battle?"
"Of course" Tiger nodded, and grabbed Charmeleon's pokeball.
"Alright all my Pokemon are being healed right now so a one on one
with Scyther and a Pokemon of your choice is all I can do" he said
with a nod.
"Alright" Tiger nodded he wasn't up for a full fight anyway, and he
knew Bugsy well enough. He had helped Azalea in the
past with an issue concerning the forest Pokemon. "Though I'm not
going easy on you, or Scyther" Tiger sad kindly
"Oh I wouldn't want you to, Tiger. Now are you using Cyndaquil like
you did in Ilex?" Bugsy asked, and glanced at Cyndaquil. "He
certainly looks stronger than last time"
"No I want to use a new Pokemon I caught" Tiger said with a nod and
let Charmeleon out.
basically what I said to. Except I wanted a light type to
counteract dark..l
