"He was staring at us for a while" Tiger admitted lowly. "Then he came up, and asked where I got them, I told him one of the pokemon was yours, and he demanded that he takes them both as payment for what happened here with Ho-Oh. Charmander-Charmeleon now-used a flamethrower stopping Tangrowth from getting Eevee, and after that Cyndaquil, Mareep, and I were pushed back. They tried to escape, but you guys stopped them" he said quietly feeling guilty about the whole incident.

Charmeleon smiled, and looked at Eevee "thanks!" he said cheerfully.

"Oh. Oooh. So they thought you were--" Mel broke off and nodded. "I just can't believe they were gonna steal Charman-- Charmeleon and Eevee without hesitation." She shook her head.

Tiger nodded, and sighed. He then got to his feet, and glanced at Charmeleon. "At least they're safe" he said softly. "Thanks for the help..."

Roy looked around the shop, looking for something to buy. He found black hair dye, and took that. He had also found an Emerald that could, luckily, fit into his sword. He bought those both, and walked out.

Victor had now bought a larger-than-before bag. But unlike the last one it wasn’t a backpack, this one was to be slung on the shoulder.
"Hey... WHERE SHINE!" Victor shouted after he noticed that all the other shinies were there. "SHINE. MY BABY! DRAGOON! HATCHLING WHERE IN ARCEUS NAME ARE YOU" He shouted looking around.

A snake like Pokemon playfully returned on Victor's shoulder. "I'll. Kill. You." Victor said, clutching his heart and noticing Shine.

(Whoever guesses a Pokemon reference in Victor's speech gets an Internet cookie)

"Oh yeah.. I'm just gonna go.. Return them and pretend none of this ever happened.." Mel said, reaching over to lift up Riolu. She headed back into the store and quickly placed to bows back before darting out again.

Eevee let out an excited chirp at yet another shiny, prancing around the group.

Cosmo lifted itself out of a compartment in Victor's bag.
"Is if any use to ask you to stay there?" Victor asked, sighing. Cosmo looked at Victor mischeviously.
"I need to expire the new domains!" Cosmo said dramatically.

Mel laughed. "Exploring, sure. By the way what are we doing here again?" She asked curiously.

Eevee hopped onto her other shoulder, while Riolu stuck his tongue out at the normal type.

"I thought we were here to get a new bag after Cosmo shredded my earlier one? I got one, with lots of space for Cosmo to get into." Victor said, looking at the new compartment in his red-and-white bag with a white and gold strap. It was more elaborate than the standard bags.

"I'm honestly losing track of gyms.." Victor said and opened his badge case, with the Plain badge in the third slot and the rest being empty.
