"WINDOW SHOPPING." Mel shouted, darting after Mira. "We'll be in there!" She yelled, mostly to Eevee.

The normal type nodded and returned her attention to Charmander's tail, leaping to her paws to crouch down and leap onto Charmander's tail, still careful to avoid the flame.

Tiger sighed, and nodded as the group left. He sat down in the grass and waited for the others to get finished. Cyndaquil sat next to him, and looked up as a few trainers walked by them and whispered. They looked at Tiger suspiciously. Please, Arceus don't let anyone fight me...I didn't bring Ho-Oh here. But these people might think I did he thought uneasily, and looked at Charmander. The pokemon then jumped into the air, and playfully tackled Eevee.

Eevee laughed and rolled across the grass, leaping back to her paws to jump over Charmander and land on the ground in front of him, flicking her tail, eyes narrowing playfully.

"I'm getting a pink bow on you." Mel said firmly, reaching over to grab a bow place it on Riolu's head. "Don't struggle. I won't dress up, but I need pictures to show Luma, or she'll kill me."

Riolu didn't move and allowed the girl to cover him in bows while giggling.

Charmander laughed, and jumped backwards playfully. Tiger looked over and saw a few more trainers glaring at him from across the way.

Mira slowly put the tie away that she had picked up. "How about a jacket? For me, I mean. I could use another hoodie," She darted to a rack of sweatshirts and jackets.

Eevee giggled and leapt back towards them, padding into the grass and playing with a few fallen leaves. She hadn't noticed the trainers glaring at Tiger.

"You look beautiful." Mel grinned, holding up her pokegear. She'd completely covered Riolu in pink bows. "Thank you for this." She said, carefully starting to pull the bows off.

Riolu shrugged and helped pull them out of his fur.

Cyndaquil looked over to the trainers, and watched as they left the area. Tiger sighed, and looked back to Charmander, and Eevee slightly amused. Charmander then laughed, and threw a leaf into the air. He burnt it before it landed ashes fell to the ground.

Eevee laughed and leapt for the ashes, sending the ashes scattering through the air. She sneezed and stepped back, shaking herself in surprise.

Mira laughed. "You look like a bow-monster. I like it."

She took a brown jacket off of the rack. The hood was lined with fur. "What do you think? ...Nah, it's not nearly cold enough for this."

Charmander smiled, and growled when a few trainers walked over. "Hey kid how did you get two shinies" the trainer asked coldly.

Tiger looked up, and recognized the trainer from earlier. "One of them is my friend's" he said guardedly.

"Friends? Hmmm....are you sure about that?" He said darkly.

Cyndaquil, and Mareep then growled, and stood by Charmander. "It's my friend's " he repeated evenly.

"To bad, kid..." the trainer said darkly. "I'll be taking them. After all we need payment for what you did here" he said in a hostile tone. The trainer then sent out a tangrowth. Tangrowth growled, and swiped a vine across the ground knocking Cyndaquil, and Mareep back. Tiger managed to get away from the move. He ran for Charmander, and Eevee, but was pushed back by the pokemon's vines. The pokemon tried to get both shinies, but only managed to get Charmander when the small lizard pokemon used a flamethrower on the vine reaching for Eevee.

Eevee yelped and leapt back, pushing off the ground and leaping into the air to attempt to use swift on the vine holding Charmander.

"What is- TOKA!"

Mira scrambled out the door after her pokemon and tripped, falling face-down on the ground. Toka leapt forward and used Dragon Rage on the Tangrowth. "Oh. That works," Mira blinked, scrambling to her feet.

"What the--"

Riolu darted out, not even bothering to pull off all the bows. Mel followed, pausing midstep.

"We leave for five minutes and it all goes to hell." Mel growled. "'Ey! Leave them alone!" She shouted. "Riolu, brick break!"

The fighting type leapt forward, using said move on the Tangrowth.

Tangrowth growled, and continued to run. Charmander struggled in it's grasp. The Pokémon then began to glow, he then grew, and evolved. Tangrowth stumbled in shock, and was hit by the other moves, Charmeleon then used a flamethrower, and managed to burn the grass Pokémon.

Mira darted after the Tangrowth, Toka next to her in stride. "Twister! Don't hit Charmander!" She shouted. Toka did so.

Tangrowth was hit, it dropped Charmeleon, and its trainer called him back quickly. "This isn't over!" the trainer yelled over his shoulder, and ran off. Tiger looked on as the trainer ran off. Charmeleon then ran over to the others quickly.

Mira skidded to a halt, but Toka pressed on slightly. "No, come back here. Not worth it," She panted, looking behind her. She walked back to the other trainers. "Man. He must have been pretty desperate for a shiny. Or an idiot. Why not both?"

She noticed Charmeleon and smiled. "You evolved. You alright?"

"I'll knee him in the face if I ever see again." Mel grumbled. Riolu clung to her shoulder.

Eevee approached Charmeleon and sniffed him curiously, before stepping back with a grin. She dipped her head to him.

Charmeleon shook his head clear, and blinked. He then looked at Mira "I'm fine" he said gently, and looked back to Eevee, and Cyndaquil.

"Most trainers are desperate for shinies. I'm just glad Charmeleon isn't hurt, and Eevee is safe..." Tiger said gently.

"Me too." Mel agreed, crossing her arms and letting out a small sigh. "What happened? Did they just, like, run up and demand Eevee and Charmeleon or something?"

"You changed! You look so cool!" Eevee chirped excitedly, prancing around the group happily.
