"Oh god, what did u do Damien, cooking a raw rabbit on the stove"

The smoke consumed the house.

"I'm sorry, I am only 8, you just started teaching me to hunt!" Damien Replied.

"Let's just get out of the house!"

Outside in their backyard, their uncle watched the house worried.

"Dang it, I should have never left those two alone."

He saw a red and silver fox scurry out of the house, he was relieved.

He saw them transform back and exclaimed.

"What the heck happened,!"

"It's your fault too old man , you didn't teach Damien about hunting either!"

"I'm sorry" Damien said cutely as ever.

Kat nodded, and sighed "I only seen the town celebrate Halloween once" he said softly. He looked up and saw the town as well.

Kat nodded in agreement, and turned human when he got closer to the town. Yukio jumped into one more pile of snow before transforming again.

Andromeda slowed her pace as they neared the signs of civilization. An anxious voice welled up inside her. Just stay out here in the forest, let the others do their holiday..., the inner voice told her. She shook her head, clearing her thoughts, and transformed into her human self.

Lucia nodded in excited agreement, morphing midleapt, which sent her sprawling into the snow. She vanished into the snowbank. "For hecks sake." She grumbled, standing and shivering. "I can't wait until Halloween." She smiled, warming up quickly.

Andromeda did her best to wear a neutral expression, though she was not very good at that. " I'm fine. Just think I'm beginning to prefer the serenity of the wilds over these cities and towns..." Andromeda said, looking forwards to the houses dotting the landscape. She gave Yukio a smile, "Don't worry about me, worry about getting the perfect costume, right?," she said, putting a hand on Yukio's back.

"If you don't want to come trick-or-treating, you don't have to." Lucia told Andromeda softly. "I don't want to force you to do anything you don't want to do."

She looked at her hands and frowned. "I think I have frostbite." She muttered, shoving her hands into her sweater and balling them into fists. "I'm gonna die." She groaned dramatically.

Kanti gasped. "OH NO! Oh... Oh god... What's this?" She held up her index finger. "A PAPER CUT! WHAT A WOOOORLD!" She collapsed into the snow.

Kat glanced over to Andromeda "I can stay with you. I don't want to go trick or treating anyway." He said kindly. Yukio nodded, and ran over to Kanti, and Lucia.

"Yeah I can keep these two safe while you two decide where to go next!" He said cheerfully.

"SHE'S DYING." Lucia shouted. She collapsed into the snow beside Kanti. "Don't die!" She gasped dramatically and held her hands up to her heart. "Oh no-- I'm gonna freeze to death-" She collapsed onto her stomach. "Bleh."

Andromeda eyed Lucia, Kanti, and Yukio nervously. "I don't know...I feel nervous about leaving you three to your own devices," she said. Andromeda still knew nothing about this town, and with the last disaster still fresh in her memory, she would hate for things to go awry due to her absence.

"Wear neon yellow to our funerals!" Lucia called, remaining facedown in the snow. She didn't bother moving. "Don't worry about us. I'm a mature adult, remember? I can totally handle this. Besides, we've got Yukio. He's.. he's probably more responsible than me and Kanti combined."

Yukio laughed, and went over to Kanti. He then handed her a bandage "the power of this bandage will heal you!" He said playfully.

Kat looked over to Andromeda, and blinked. "Yukio has a walkie talkie in his bag. Maybe we can hold onto one while they're out?" He suggested.

Somehow this interaction made Andromeda feel worse about splitting up. "So...you guys do the trick or treating thing. And then we move on tomorrow." she said, crossing her arms into the folds of her oversized jacket. "It isn't wise to linger anywhere without a good reason."
