Lucario un-evolved and approached Mel, who'd crouched down to pull
a pack of bandages out of her backpack and was wrapping her arm.
The bandages turned red in one spot, but it was otherwise okay.
"Dusk should be okay. Whatever that machine did should be cleared
from his head." She said flatly, tucking the bandages into her
backpack. "Here." She said, stood, pulling a potion out of her
backpack to spray on Lucario. She sighed and glanced at her
pokégear, which was blinking violently. She unlocked it and typed
into it, muttering something about how "no I'm not going home you
monster".
Tiger growled, and moved his left arm, sighing in relief when he
noticed it wasn't broken. "Something wrong?" He asked in concern,
and forced himself to his feet.
"Nope." Mel said, tossing her pokégear into the air. It hit the
ground and shattered, and she let out a small sigh of relief.
"There." She said cheerfully, sweeping the pieces to the side of
the room with her foot. She grabbed the data card and crushed it,
dropping it to the ground in satisfaction, albeit a bit bitterly.
At least the coding from the machine was gone now.
"That was.. Everything." Lucario said in surprise. "You
just lost everything."
Mel shrugged and breezed out the door. "Let's just get out of here
before Lusamine gets back." She called over her shoulder.
Mel skipped ahead, reaching where she'd left Torch. She reached up
to pat him and pulled herself onto his back. Lucario mimicked her.
"I'm gonna go home and chill or something." She paused. "By the
way.. Did we leave Lion in Ultra space?"
Mel shrugged. "Have fun, then." She said, before glancing at Tiger
again. "Don't forget to get Dusk healed. Toka too. And don't die."
She said cheerfully before gently nudging Torch. The fire type took
off, and Mel yawned.
"So you just destroyed your pokégear."
"Correct."
"Because of the code from the machine."
"Yeah. What's your point? I have a backup at home."
"With all the same stuff on it?"
".. What are you getting at."
"I'm just saying, that had most of your stuff on it! You had
everything on that one!"
Mel shrugged. "I had to get rid of the coding." She said
flatly.
"So you got rid of your mom as well?"
".. Alright listen here." She shrugged again. "Coding,
Lucario. Coding. My mom just happened to text me then. What's your
point?"
Mira waved to Torch before turning to Tiger one more time. "Sure
you're alright? I'm heading to the Pokemon Center on Poni," She
told him, climbing onto her boat.
UB Burst had now gone away, flying around in the normal world,
rampaging and grieving about Pheromosa. Victor looked at Mira's
boat.
"I think I prefer flying." Victor said and called Flare, and
climbed into the Charizard. "And does anyone realise we've left a
UB in our world? I hope to goodness he dosen’t meet Lusamine, since
she looks like Pheromosa.."
"I don’t think a lovesick UB is going to help us much. And it
probably hates me now since my suggestion didn’t work out." Victor
sighed. He recalled Silvally.
"I think I'll do the grand trial. One more step towards being the
champion. Anyone want to come with me?" He asked.
"I can atleast try... nothing's lost if I don’t become the
champion, but the possibilities are endless if I do." Victor said.
"My grand trial is supposed to be with Hala."
The boy had also transferred Infernape and Torterra to get back
Jangmo-o and Oracion, making his team consist of Volt, Carotte,
Sirius, Oracion, Jangmo-o and Silvally. Victor carried around
Blaze's Pokeball for emergencies, even though he wasn’t a part of
the boy's official team.
lost track of Victor's Pokemon so decided to sum them up
here
Torch landed outside Mel's house and dropped her off before flying
off again. Mel unlocked the front door and opened it, stepping
inside and shutting and locking it behind her.
Lucario darted towards the couch.
"I'm just gonna read or something." She called over her shoulder as
she headed into her room, flipping open a book and flipping onto
her bed.
"Pfft. It's like no one around here likes to sail... While we're on
AN ISLAND," Mira pointed out somewhat annoyed. She untied the sail
and pat Salandit on the head. "Off to Poni. Seeya Tiger, possibly
there!"
She sailed off to Poni, this time going a lot slower. She wasn't in
the mood to really blast off this time.
Mira landed on Poni in that gigantic harbor they have and got out,
Toka's pokeball in hand. Persian walked alongside her while
Salandit and Char rode on her shoulders. "She's gonna be furious at
me. She hates going into her pokeball."
"Well, if you didn't do that, she'd still be passed out, so I
think she'll get perspective," Amana grumbled, knowing Mira
couldn't understand him without a psychic-type there.
