Yikes, y'all need to relax a little.
No need to get defensive and tell others they should leave if they think something isn't unfair, or randomly throw mods into this which this suggestion has /absolutely/ nothing to do with mods, lmao :u

Anyways, I support this idea, I don't participate in rallies, just have two myself from like.. 3 years ago lol, but at the same time, you are taking away that chance for someone who's sitting in 4th place to get their shot at that medal. It happens in real life with sports, so why not on PH? if any of the top three are cheaters, they are stripped of their medal, and 4/5th are rewarded their medal, because it's justified. Letting a botter/banned account keep that medal throws it into the faces of those who were so close to obtaining it, and because the cheaters got themselves perma banned, those hard working individuals now lose out on a chance for a medal.
Tbh, perma banned accounts should be 100% deleted but lol, that's a whole different ball of wax.

@Kelp Yeah I won't explain to anyone anything now, the one who really want to understand are already supporting this idea, and thanks a lot for that sports example, I find it as the best example for this kind of situation

if they are banned for using macros/auto clickers the ofc remove from medal rally.

but as stated if they earned place then no

the ban could have been for something completely separate from the click. posting swearing or offensive chat for example.

still a ban is a ban and they are no longer going to benefit from a medal on profile.

unless of course the ban is overturned which i assume is rare

I Should also point out. Someone getting banned during a rally doesn't mean they cheated, they could of broke one of the many other rules of the site. And also just because someone gets a high score doesn't mean they cheated cause YES some people are that obsessive they will play and play and play till they get a good score in a competition.

But honestly this is why I won't do the rallies cause I am worried that if I happen to do really well (and yes I am obsessive enough to keep at it all day till I got a high score) I will get people accusing me of cheating cause they don't think its possible so it has to be a cheat.

Wouldn't it be better instead of suggesting its was a cheating to maybe suggest to remove locked accounts from the rally? Cause as I said you have ZERO way of knowing they cheated and to suggest they "might" of is wrong and just mean.

I am saying "might" for common users like you and me, but mods. know who did what, so it's OK to remove them from rally if they did so :)

And is making it sound more like a suggestion for cheating than removal of locked accounts from the rally.

Ah, maybe it's time to clear this up, and @Mysterio, please correct me if I'm wrong but:

The point of this suggestion is to remove people who have been banned from the medal rally so that those people don't block the chances for people who are active and try to get the medal.
The point is NOT to ban or remove people from the rally who might come off as cheaters or whatever. The part "because they might be using auto-clicker to do so (coin flip & berry feeding) and thus they don't deserve to have a medal" is an argument to further prove the point why it might be a good idea to remove the banned people from the rally. It does not mean that Mysterio wants people to be banned. It might be easy to understand it in a wrong way, but the original suggestion is really "the people who get locked permanently while in any rally should be removed from medal rally".

I don't intend to mini-mod or anything. I just feel as if there's a misunderstanding about the actual point of this suggestion. I might be wrong of course, but please correct me if that is the case.

alright, to be honest I didn´t read every last post, but here´s my conclusion:

I do agree with rhoslin, most clicks I´ve heard of was 8k in 15min, so if you have someone being active for 5h that would make 160k, not 1.5kk, so it does indeed seem like a fair bit of cheating.

I do agree, if someone gets a medal through cheating, this medal shouldn´t be awarded to them. BUT only if that medal is won through this cheating, if someone cheated a lot of coinflips but ALSO won the eggs regularly, they should still be awarded the egg medal. Sure it won´t help them, but the medal is awarded to the person who hatches most eggs during that certain time, which the did. I think everything else would have to be considered unfair.

Like if their username is coin_flip_bot and they get 1000 coinflips per second
500k coinflips with 33 minutes of game time
