Papyrus stumbled and made to run towards his brother again, but was stopped by the sound of a crack followed by a series of dry snaps. He watched in helpless horror as his brother’s head split open from his browline to his jaw.
Toriel fell back and retched as Sans yelled in pain and staggered to his feet.
The sickening sound of bone splintering assaulted them as Sans’s body began to shift and expand. He cried out. The fabric of his hoodie bulged then tore as twisted bone shards erupted from his shoulders and down his vertebrae in erratic, ghastly patterns. The tattered fabric fell away as his ribcage expanded, the bones becoming thicker and stronger.
With a loud snap, his shoulder blades dislocated, split, and slid down his ribcage as his arms cracked lengthways and reformed into two separate pairs of limbs. Sans collapsed, crumpling onto his four new hands with a moan.
His skull was swelling, the mouth and nose distending into a long muzzle. His flat teeth moved towards the back of the newly-formed, bifurcated Jaw while new, sharp ones burst along the space that remained, ill-fitting and unbalanced. They were savage and cruel and maliciously mirrored the great claws that had unsheathed from the tips of his fingers and toes.
Along the back of his head, the once-small nodules that had emerged just hours before swelled into points as a ridged crest and a number of twisted horns erupted out of his skull. One set of arms flew up to clutch at his head in distress with a guttural scream; the other set grasped at his stomach and raked across his ribs.
Papyrus’s legs gave way from under him. Every shred of his being had stoped functioning. His jaw hung open dumbly; there were no words that could possibly help. He had never been frozen by such complete and utter powerlessness. He could only watch the torture.
Sans’s back-half stretched out behind him in a series of spine-snapping convulsions then re-set as his feet grew, the joints cracking back on themselves. As his pelvis had shattered and reformed itself, a long tail, getting longer, had split out from his coccyx. It thrashed around in a frenzy, the skeleton’s body wracked in shrieking, crazed agony. It swept back and forth with the sound of a whipcrack as it smashed against cavern walls, knocking chunks of solid rock and crystal onto the ground with brutal crashes. His shorts, little more than scraps, fluttered to the ground.
Toriel acting on instinct alone, managed to tear herself away from the sight. Moving erratically to avoid being hit by Sans’s tail, she dived towards Papyrus and grabbed him under his arms. Without stopping to see if he could even stand, she dragged him backwards to a wall near the cavern entrance. Tears began to stream down Papyrus’s face as each new tremor and crack in his brother’s body brought a new, increasingly animalistic, scream of torment. Sans’s voice had become unrecognisable: It had deepened into raw feral screams.
The creature that Sans had become reared back onto its hind legs and grasped two sets of hands to its head, tearing at the newly mutated skull with violent gouges, howling in pain as it did so. It stumbled back against one of the cavern walls and there was a great rumble as chunks of the ceiling, littered with glowing crystals, tumbled down like falling stars and hit the floor with echoing crashes.
Eventually, after what felt like forever, it stopped.

anyway guys, what's your opinion on crossover aus? (Pun intended XD)
like (i can't think of any examples except my own rn so XD) The Undergames which is an Undertale/Hunger Games crossover.
I think they're ok, if they're done decently and if they make it actually interesting and not just a blatant copy of something (like imma change some things up in mine, but its just a base idea rn)
