About 10 years after Team Skull disbanded, Alola had seen many growths, such as Pokémon from distant regions, even including the elusive and rare Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, flocking to the Alolan isles. However, once such growth was Volcanic activity forming Po island, named for it's close proximity to the town and similar climate.
Team Skull was formed again by a person they called 'Mask' and created a base on Po island. They began using any means possible to capture the legendary Pokémon and use their power to create a weapon that could rebirth the universe.
Around this time, trainers from all over the islands would receive their starter Pokémon and Pokedexes, but a select few were chosen by Kukui for their impressive potential to embark on a journey to defeat Team Skull.
You are one of those trainers sent on this journey.
Rules
- All PH rules apply
- No Mary-sues/godmodding/gary-stus/etc.
- Max number of 3 of the same species, so this doesn't get boring.

5'9'', broad shouldered, olive skin with lots of freckles. Hair is two medium-length thick ginger braids with black ties, and side-swept bangs. Wears a black tee with two thin white stripes over the chest, black shorts overalls and red knee-high socks under white and black high tops. Hazel eyes, wears a black headband. Her bag is a circular messenger bag with a pokeball design. On her left arm is a wrist band that can hold 5 pokeballs (sort of like Crystal's in the manga for reference !!). Rather athletic.
History:
Having lived on the floating village on Poni island her whole life, she became free-spirited and strong. She had a family of her father and 3 elder brothers, along with her sister. Her mother went to the Unova region.
Personality:
Free-spirited, strong. However she is very stubborn and comes off as aloof. Tries her best to be cheerful. She can be very snarky, not afraid to use her sharp tongue to insult or point out what people do wrong.

Her outfit is usually a laege yellow shirt with a tie and flowers, grey shorts, and red and yellow sneakers. Along with a white and red messenger bag, she wears a collection of bracelets on her right arm and a yellow headband with a bow.
History:
Having just moved from Johto to Alola, Nino is getting accustomed to the climate. She lives with her parents, a younger brother and an older sister.
Personality:
Sweet and helpful, Nino is always there for her friends but has trouble making them because she is not very trusting, causing her to be shy. However, once she makes friends she is loyal and bright.

Appearance: Mira is a bit on the short side, standing at 5'3. She wears a green tee-shirt, usually covered by a black hoodie (although she doesn't commonly wear said hoodie in Alola's warmer temperatures) and a pair of jeans/denim shorts. She has brown hair that comes down past her shoulder and light brown eyes framed with purple glasses.
History: Mira was born in Kanto and lived in Vermilion City for most of her life. She was raised mostly by her father, since her mother kind of... Disappeared after she turned two. She was taught early on how to throw a Pokeball, how to take care of Pokemon, ect. She wanted to be a trainer all of her life, and when Kukui called on her, she packed her bags faster than you could say "Ho-Oh". Her father was in full support of her, and even sent her to Pallet Town to get her starter.
Personality: Mira is very upbeat and positive. Despite her cheerful nature and love for Pokemon, she's very strict and territorial. Still, she's a very nice and loving person to be around... As long as you don't touch her stuff or make her mad.
Starter: Growlithe (got there a few years too late to claim any of the traditional starters)
Other: Wears a ring that is apparently very, VERY important to her.

Appearance: Gem is a bit short. She's 5'4". She has pale skin, hazel eyes, and brown curly medium-length hair. She usually wears a light purple t-shirt, and plain blue shorts. Her shirt has the design of a sleeping Rowlet, Popplio, and Litten on it. She's very skinny, and not athletic at all. Her bag is mostly light blue. It has a Pokeball holder on the outside of it. The place where it holds Pokeballs is very reliable and sturdy.
History: Gem lived most of her life on Melemele Island. She moved to Ula'Ula Island not so long ago, with her mother, her older sister, and their family Alolan Raichu. Her father had left her family when she was very young, along with her brother.
Personality: Gem is shy around people she doesn't know well, but once she warms up to you she's not as shy. She's quite introverted. If she gets to the point where she thinks she's talked too much and for too long, she'll stop talking for a while. If someone ticks her off too much, she'll get really angry. She won't stay angry for long, but while she's angry she does regrettable and rational decisions. She also has a small bit of impatience in her. But, while she's good, she's a helpful and trusting girl. She doesn't hold many grudges, and when she does it's usually for a very good reason. (Tell me if the personality isn't good enough, I'm not very good at making these :I )

History: She was born in Sinnoh, and received a starter there as a farewell gift when her family moved to Alola when she was five.
Personality: She is optimistic and free-spirited, extremely stubborn and has a fiery temper. Maple absolutely loves autumn, and cats! She has no idea what she wants to be but knows she wants to do something she loves. Maple loves Pokemon with all of her heart.

History: He was born in Alola, but instead of getting a starter he caught his own Pokemon, on a field trip. Maple moved in as his next-door neighbor, but they really only started to get to know each other around 3rd grade, when Maple started to be more outgoing.
Personality: Super cute and all of the girls love him. Honest and loyal, he's a good listener. He loves to act, and is a total goofball, willing to do the craziest of dares. Sometimes he might seem a bit distant, or may not be attentive to everyone, but not intentionally.

Lawrence stands at 5'7" and has blue-grey eyes. He wears contacts rather than glasses now, and wears an eyepatch over his left eye. He has long blonde hair that is in a ponytail like Hau's hair. His left eye is completely blind, so he doesn't have a contact for that eye. He wears a light blue tail coat with black dress pants and a white shirt. He has a black bow tie and a Z Ring bracelet.
History:
Lawrence came from a pretty rough family. His mother and father divorced, or so he was told, and he lived with his mother. He hated how she moved from boyfriend to boyfriend, but when he questioned about his father? His mother finally told him the truth. His father had died from cancer when he was very young. His mother was trying to get over the grief. In this way, she was unintentionally taking it out on her daughter (at that time).
Lawrence turned ten in this life. He and his best friend Johnson visited Professor Rowan and got their first Pokemon, Piplup and Turtwig. Fast forward through Sinnoh without the who legendary thing, he takes on the Elite 4 but fails. He decides to go to Alola for another adventure and gets an egg from a close friend of his mother's. He takes it in and raises it to be a Larvesta.
Personality:
It takes a while to get to know Lawrence Amiya, but perhaps most important is that he's witty and exciting. Of course he's also trusting, intuitive and imaginative, but these are in a way balance by being impatient as well. His wit though, this is what he's most popular for. There are many times when friends count on this and his elegance whenever they need help. Nobody's perfect of course and Lawrence has rotten moods and days too. His depressive nature and anger do cause plenty of friction and beyond what people are willing to deal with. Also, very gentle and forgiving.
Starter:
Since Lawrence is starting over in Alola, he abandoned his old team. He has a Larvesta he got from an egg as his starter. This Larvesta is named Betsy and is female.
Other:
Later on, he will receive a Sail Fossil and revive it into a male Amaura named Alexander. At the start of the RP, his team is Betsy and a Sensu Oricorio named Lumiere.

Appearance: small for his age with slightly pale skin, and a scorch (flame patterned) scar on his right arm that stretches from his shoulder to his elbow. He has emerald green eyes, and a few freckles on his cheeks. He wears a black jacket that hides his scar, and a royal blue undershirt which shows from the jacket. He has pale blue jeans which have been slightly tattered, as well as black shoes, and a blue bag. He has a blue baseball cap with a lightning bolt design on it.
History: He was a trainer from Johto who travelled to Alola to escape criticism back home. He earned all eight Johto badges, but never defeated the league. He was chased by Team Rocket as a child, and newbie trainer so he is always on his guard. For some reason he doesn't explain why he won't evolve his Cyndaquil.
Personality: He is a kind, loyal, and brave trainer, but with a short temper, and a bit reckless. He is hard headed when it comes to his beliefs.
