At this dance, you find and meet your soulmate under a mask.
You have to find someone who moves with your rhythm and whose gems glow brighter as you get closer to them.
Everyone is given identical looking gems the night prior and during the dance, the gems glow brighter as you near a soulmate that matches your rhythm till...
They turn a shade of blue, a sign you have met your soulmate.
It's now your time to find your Soulmate

Growing up, Draco's parents had high expectations of him. They would constantly tell him that his grades weren't satisfactory even though they were exceptionally good grades. He was also pushed to do many sports that he did not enjoy. He play soccer, volleyball, basketball, and hockey. The only sport he ever enjoyed was volleyball. Otherwise, Draco was a pretty average kid growing up.

Draco was very nervous about The Masquerade. It was tomorrow and he didn't really know what would happen. He had received his mask and suit and just looking at it made his palms sweaty. Every moment where his mind was free to think about anything, it always went straight to The Masquerade. He took a few deep breaths and began to make some food for himself to help him get distracted. "Maybe I'm just hungry and I'm having a hard time thinking and focusing...hopefully," thought Draco.
Skye was out in town doing some grocery shopping and buying amenities like toilet paper. He had only just gotten the idea of: What if they don't provide us apartments and one of us have to move into the other's? What if they do provide us apartments? He wasn't sure and was kind of acting like a worry wort. In the end, he decided to just buy some extra things...just in case.

"If that was a realistic prison, there'd be more security. Barbed wire." She critiqued, making Oliver nod softly. "Yeah." He hummed quietly. He yawned softly, and Maria glanced at him. She looked back to the TV.

Carmen admired herself in her long, white framed mirror on her wall. Her dress shone in the light, it wasn't called 'Elegant Emerald' for nothing. She was excited for tomorrow. If she didn't find a soulmate, so be it. It would be nice to have one, but maybe she wouldn't find 'The One' she had been looking for, for so long.

Troye was currently playing a game of soccer with a couple of his friends in a park. But his head wasn't in the game, and everyone could sense something was on his mind. He was playing as well as he normally did. And something was on his mind. The Masquerade. He sighed. He had already tried on the black suit with red lining. It honestly made his look a bit intimidating, and he thought the mask might make him look downright terrifying. But that wasn't what was bothering him. They might find their soulmate there. Someone to spend the rest of their lives with. He wasn't sure what to think.

i'm amazed that whoever sent this actually found or made something like this in my size.....and it's so pretty.. but..... i don't like my shoulder's being exposed, i hope i have a jacket or something that'll work well with this dress... she thought, then went to go change out of the dress and hang it up.

Jasper had the suit he was given along with the mask and looked it over, checking to see if any seams needed fixed or if it needed ironing before he put it up on a hanger.

Picking out some whips pumps, Amy laid them out below her dress. "I hope... nobody finds me ugly or stares at me..." She thought in horror, and jumped into her bed, staring up at the ceiling, her hair sprawled everywhere. Closing her eyes, she began to imagine what the guy would look like, how his personality was... it was all so scary.
Taking off her dress and shoes, Carmen's heart began to race the more she thought about The Masquerade. She had butterflies, both good and bad. Patting down the dress for any dirt, dust or hair, she hung it up neatly in her wardrobe.
Both girls took a deep breath. "I'm ready."

Oliver straightened, causing Maria to look at him. He glanced at her and huffed. "I might try on my dress again." He murmured, making Maria laugh. "Again? Come on, Ollie, you'll be fine!" She giggled, making Oliver flush embarassedly. "Ah, sorry, I just... I wanted to make sure it would be good." He explained, letting his hands fall into his lap. Maria shook her head at him. She slid off her shoes, looking at him.
"Want to take a nap?" She asked, and Oliver nodded slowly. He slid off his own shoes, and stood up so Maria could lay down. He then laid in front of her, wrapped up with her arms around him. She pulled the blanket on the back of the couch onto them. After a few moments, Oliver was asleep, and Maria smiled at his tiny snores.

i really need to sleep....! this is so nerve racking... she thought, soon rinsing the toothpaste out of her mouth before she put everything away and went to go stretch out in her bed.
she soon covered up and hugged one of her pillows, staring off into space before she finally managed to doze off.

Jasper kept running around his house cleaning up and making sure stuff was in place and tidy before he left for the ball that was tomorrow.
everything seem's to be ready... i guess.....? ugh, no time to dwell on anything for now.... i need to go get some sleep... he mentally complained at himself, then went off to his room to rest for the night, though he assumed it was since he didn't check the time.
(this is the best i can come up with for the time being, lol, at least i'm doing big post's)

Draco was at his apartment. He had just gotten out of the shower. He got changed into his suit and tux, and put his mask on. It was a black mask designed similarly to a crow. He grabbed his gem and tucked into his inner pocket of his suit. He fixed his hair, got his shoes on, and called a taxi to begin driving to the location.
