Having that said, I'm torn between looking for the scripts and reading them BECAUSE I PHYSICALLY CANNOT WAIT FOR AUGUST and not reading them so the episodes won't be spoiled for me.

My favorite would have to be the War Doctor's. I really loved how it looked as a mixture of Classic Who and New Who.

Peter Jackson (NZ director - Hobbit, LOTR etc.) might be directing a future episode of Dr Who here in New Zealand! :D
Needless to say I am very excited, especially because I live rather close to a lot of the sites PJ uses for filming... :D

Are they bringing the 12th Doctor to Pompeii? Because, that would be... Pretty interesting if they brought up the character Capaldi played and actually made that into the 12th Doctor.
If you're confused with what I'm talking about Peter Capaldi played a character from Series 4, Episode 2: The Fires of Pompeii. He played a character named Caecilius who, and his family, was actually saved by The Doctor from Mount Vesuvius.

Anyway, rant over, yes I also hope they find a good way to explain the overlap. I remember with Freema (Martha) they just passed off her previous character as a cousin so I hope it is more interesting with this one.

In other news, I went to a DW thing at the library a few days ago. There was whovian bingo, trivia (I got 12 out of 15 questions right), fish sticks (the custard wasn't a hit last time), and fez making. And we were supposed to vote for our favorite regeneration of the Doctor. Interestingly enough, the War, DoctorDonna/Meta-Crisis Doctor, and Twelve weren't included in the poll.

Personally, I loved Matt as the Doctor. At first, he seemed like a quirky puppy in a tweed jacket, and turned into a more reckless Doctor when really pushed. I love the first, fourth, fifth, War, 9th, 10th, Meta-Crisis, and 11th Doctors, and I'm sure I will love the others once I actually watch one of their adventures. For me, it's like every actor has a different Doctor. They all bring something different and interesting to the table, so it's like having 14 kids and trying to decide which one I love most when people ask me who my favorite Doctor is.
