Recently i've finished a couple of gene projects, including Moonlight and Destroyer, my two gen1 banescales that might never be bred [as i hate breeding gen1s] but, they're a pair nonetheless! I mean, look at their colours, they're perfect for each other!

My personal opinions on terts for that guy:

Porcupine - Quite busy, with the jag/rosette he already has, but it also kinda matches because of the business, so if you don't mind busier looking dragons [considering ancients can't have apparel], i'd go for it
Wraith - Simpler, and does suit him very nicely! though wraith is one of my favorite genes so i might be a bit bias. It takes a bit of the business away, and the smokey feel is just... nice to look at, being honest.

I also scried skeletal, as my favorite banescale gene, and it does add an almost icey/glassy casing across him which i really like, but i know that's not everyone's ideal haha.

Yeah, skeletal looked nice I just don’t know what would suit him best tho lol, maybe skeletal since it’s the only one I can afford atm xD

They all kinda suit him, to be honest, kinda depends on your personal preferences when it comes to genes i guess, i just really love skeletal in general haha. It really is my favorite gene.

Speaking of, another girl that i finished that also has skeletal. Kinda reminds me of a rose.

Oh pretty! :333 Yeah, skeletal is lovely, but I have 3-4 Banes with skeletal already though, oops? So I’m kinda leaning on Wraith/Porcupine more? I dunno. (Btw, both terms are nice, but maybe Lace? XD)

I have so many banes with skeletal, or that are gonna have skeletal, but im one of those people where i don't mind if i have too many dragons with the same tert, because i particularly like showing off my favorite genes XD But if you are definitely learning more towards wraith/procupine, i personally kinda prefer wraith for that icey misty look that still kinda suits him.

And maybe! I kinda like skeletal simply because its my favorite gene, kinda suits him, and he's my bday derg, but lace kinda fits him slightly better in my opinion? I'm just not entirely sure so im just like "I'll leave him blank until i decide solidly-" xD

Lol yeah, I’ll see if I can sell some dragons for gems so I can buy wraith then xD Yeah, I’d lace looks better go for it! I sometimes have regrets for what genes I go with so I guess it’s good you’re sitting on it rather then making a hasty decision :3

Hopefully you'll get enough for the gene you want! I personally try to stick away from gem genes due to my struggles actually getting gems, and the genes are so expensive. I've only bought one in my time playing, glimmer, for a spiral i bought from a mass-hatch, and that hurt my in-game wallet.

Yea, i'll go for that i guess. And true, that's my issue. Don't wanna make regrets with gening dragons, so if im not sure i'll tend to leave it for a while.

That's neat! I rarely sell dragons that often, let alone for gems so... Most of my gem income is eggs from gathering and such, but more recently i spend my turns on digging for the chances of crates for my end-of-year birthday crate opening [which takes place on both FR and PH, actually XD]

This is the boy that i bought the glimmer for, and his partner. They're both from the same mass hatch, different players - and my final plans for them [gene-wise] are in their bios.
