Ravenpaw was about to reply when she walked away until Crowpaw cut him off. "Ravenpaw, play nice. I already said it but we're becoming warriors soon," Crowpaw warned him. "Warrior this, warrior that. I know we're about to become warriors but at least give me some time to enjoy youth as an apprentice," Ravenpaw replied and walked away from him. Crowpaw was worried, seriously worried about his future. He stopped worrying until Shellspeckle talked about cleaning the den.

"I'm sorry sir but I'm afraid I had no involvement in this conversation except for lecturing Ravenpaw. May I please be excused from this?" Crowpaw said, quite formally. Ravenpaw rolled his eyes and glared at Shellspeckle.

Tigerpaw glanced at Shellspeckle, and nodded. She placed the dirty moss on the ground once more. "Yes please" she said kindly, and purred. She then flicked an ear uneasily "uhh..but what about Sandfeather..she..she'll be upset if she found out I didn't clean the elders den.."

"Don't you worry about cranky old Sandfeather," Shellspeckle purred. "I'll deal with her." After hearing Crowpaw try to bail out, he sighed, "All right. Maybe when Lilypaw gets back all four of you can clean."

Ivykit bounced out of the nursery, batting a mossball around. "Get back here, mouse-y!" She squealed, pouncing on it repeatedly. "You're gonna be my first catch as an apprentice!"

Tigerpaw nodded, and looked over toward the nursery where Ivykit was batting at a ball of moss. She then purred in amusement, and looked back at Shellspeckle. "Why don't we take Ravenpaw, and Crowpaw with us..? I mean they'll be warriors soon and the clan needs the fresh kill. I'll finish the elders den after we get back" she suggested kindly. She slightly glanced at Ravenpaw, not forgetting what he had said about her. I'll show you who needs to get better she thought to herself sharply. Though she didn't have much training, one of the elders had taught her to do the hunters crouch, and how to sneak up on prey.

Crowpaw looked at Tigerpaw with a shocked face until it softened into a grateful face. Ravenpaw smiled smugly and looked at Crowpaw. Whacking Ravenpaw with his tail, Crowpaw walked to Tigerpaw and stood next to her. "I would like that, Shellspeckle," Crow smiled, "and i'm sure my friend Ravenpaw would like that too." Crowpaw looked at Ravenpaw with a half-glare and a half-smile.

"Fine, fine," Shellspeckle sighed. Looking at all three apprentices, he meowed, "But three things: one, I'm in charge. Two, we're not going if you keep arguing!" He purred the last words out.

Tigerpaw nodded in agreement, and purred in amusement "I promise I won't argue with anyone..." She meowed kindly, "..unless it's the mouse I'm going to catch" she joked lightly.

Ravenpaw immediately shut his mouth, something that was impossible for him to do. "Got it!" Crowpaw stood straight so that he could match Shellspeckle's height. Ravenpaw had other things in mind though, thinking about making some trouble. While Ravenpaw was thinking of evil plans, Crowpaw was thinking about the ceremony that would turn him into a warrior.

(question: when will Crowpaw and Ravenpaw's ceremony come? Lucky and I plan to make Crowpaw a mentor for Ivykit)

"All right. Let's go then." Shellspeckle walked to the tunnel, before turning back. "And try to keep up! I'm very fast!"

(A forest. Though it's very dry, and hot like a desert. Whenever you feel Ravenpaw, and Crowpaw are ready to be warriors. Also if it's alright with Ivykit's owner then Crowpaw can mentor her)

Tigerpaw nodded, and followed Shellspeckle out of camp. She looked over her shoulder to the elders den, hoping Lightningclaw didn't mind she would be late to help finish the den.

Crowpaw followed Tigerpaw and Shellspeckle, Ravenpaw walking behind. While they walked, Crowpaw saw his mentor, Blackoak. Crowpaw was about to speak about the warriors ceremony until Ravenpaw cut him off. "So, where are we going?" Ravenpaw asked.

"I was thinking near the stream," Shellspeckle suggested. "It's a pretty hot day. Most prey will try to find shade or find some water."

Tigerpaw nodded, and walked to the stream. She looked around, and saw Sandfeather, and Lilypaw talking lowly nearby. Tigerpaw tried to make out what they were saying, but she couldn't make it out. She then looked at Shellspeckle "so uh...what will happen if Sandfeather wants to mentor Lilypaw...? I'll be without a mentor." She sighed and spoke quietly to not alert the prey nearby.

Shellspeckle seemed surprised that Tigerpaw asked that question. "She can't do that without Flamestar's approval. But if she does," he added, "I could be your mentor."

"That is true," Crowpaw smiled at Shellspeckle. "I hope the stream doesn't dry up before we get there," Ravenpaw snickered. "Quiet, Ravenpaw," Crowpaw hissed. Ravenpaw shushed but he held a smug face while at it.

"Tigerpaw, do you really want Sandfeather's approval that bad?" Ravenpaw spoke quietly.

"Thank you, Shellspeckle" she meowed gently, and heard Ravenpaw. Tigerpaw then shook her head in responce to Ravenpaw's question "not in a million moons. Sandfeather only took me on one lesson, and that was a tour of the territory. All I want is to learn, and become a great warrior for my clan" she meowed simply. She then caught the scent of mouse, and looked toward the scent.

Tigerpaw didn't respond to Ravenpaw. She ignored him in an attempt to concentrate on the mouse that she scented. She then crouched down low to the ground, and stalked forward as she saw the small gray critter eating a berry nearby.
