this time she made bigger vine's come up with thorns and whipped them around his upper neck just above her, letting the thorns dig in the best they could through his scales.
Ony! grr...! this big brute is going to end up killing all the dragonet's if the cave is also connected to the fire and ice dragonet's cave system... i can't loosen my grip, not even for a second! she thought, tightening her grip on the back of his neck.

The dragon dug his claws into Serenity's neck harder, and didn't care about the new vines. He moved his snout around, and began to bite at Serenity's paws on his neck.
[Guys, I gotta go, please don't do anything like "kill the boss dragon" when I'm gone b/c I'm trying to draw out the boss fight so that the Fire and Ice dragons can get there in time ;; ]

Serenity flinched and gulped as best she could considering the fact she had claws digging into her neck.
she was also gasping for air since his claw's were beginning to cut off airflow to her lungs.
''no....!!!'' she hissed, which was strained, keeping her grip on his neck while trying to pry his claw's out of her neck.

Aria was pacing at the entrance of the cave, staring at the ground as she did out of worry and fear for her daughter and the other dragonet's lives.
she was debating on entering to try and see if they were alright, but knew she shouldn't but just couldn't stand the thought of them being hurt.

Once at the top, she lunged for the dragon, biting and scratching at him despite her paw practically begging otherwise.

she coughed a bit and felt something warm go down her neck, which she figured was due to how deep he dug his claw's into her neck.

she struggled to get up and coughed, coughing up a bit of blood as well as she clutched her neck.

Winter flew as fast as he could. He recognized the yells of the I'm-a-perfect-student-watch-me-focus dragonet, the wind one. "Sylvia," he growled as he remembered. But if she was in danger...he should still help. Besides, the other less-obnoxious ones were probably in trouble too. The tunnel had to lead to something...
Dewdrop flew in front of Ony. "Careful, you're going to make your paw worse," he said, calmly dodging one of the flaming vines.
Sylvia screamed as she saw Serenity on the ground and landed next to her. "O-oh-oh m-my go-gosh, a-are yo-ou o-okay?" she stuttered, trembling with fear. She flared her wings in an attempt to shield Serenity.

The Life and Air dragonets went down a tunnel since they're allied, and they had to figure out how to cross a windy gap in the tunnels, which they did by the Air dragons making a bridge. They continued forward but Allia fell on an unstable patch of the tunnel and got buried in the tunnel, made her way forward underground. She encountered a mystery 'final boss' kind of dragon who captured her. Right now the other Air and Life dragonets (Serenity, Dewdrop, Ony) are fighting the 'final boss'.
The Fire and Ice dragonets went down a different tunnel for their alliance and are currently at a lava lake that they have to cross. The Fire dragonets are forming 'boats' by swimming in the lava and transporting Ice dragons over the lake one by one. Right now Winter is flying down the tunnel to the 'boss fight' because he heard yelling, but everyone else is still at the lake. Frost is across the lake, Braise, Blaze and Firework are transporting dragons.)

Shard held on as tightly as she could.
The dragon growled and got off, but not breathing on the ground once more. Many more vines with flame tips went forward and wrapped around Dewdrop and Ony tightly.
Allia was beginning to wake up, but as soon as she did, the vines tightened around her. She blacked out again, blood trickling down the vines.

Dewdrop hissed and struggled as much as he could to at least distract the beast, roaring furiously.
Winter nearly smacked into the cave wall as a tremor shook the tunnel. "What the-" he gasped as a flaming vine just barely missed his wing. "WHAT THE-" His jaw dropped in shock as he saw Dewdrop, Ony, Serenity, and Sylvia, all bleeding profusely and fighting a- a....he assumed it was a dragon. Shaking his head, he let out a roar and shot a flare of frost breath at the dragon.

Blaze kept pace with Firework, steadying his wings.
Shard glanced around as the two dragons who acted as a boat for her continued to swim. She could almost see the shore on the other side.

Firework smiled up at Shard. "You're safe," she reassured her.
Winter gulped and snapped his mouth shut. "UUUUHHH, WHAT DO I DO," he yelled in the general direction of the other dragonets.

Blaze could already see the shore. Must've been quicker this time since Shard wasn't as scared as Winter. He thought. He continued swimming at the same pace as Firework.

Dewdrop gave a frustrated hiss. "DON'T LET THEM TOUCH YOU," he yelled.
"OH THANKS, SO HELPFUL," Winter returned sarcastically.
Firework halted at the other side. "We're here," she announced. "See, that wasn't so bad."
