I think the item shop should also have a gems section to it.

Similar to how it has randomized form changing items

it would have 3 or up to 5 different gems for sale each day.

As much as I'd love to have this, I sadly don't support. It'd be way to easy for people to collect them for the Bird trio, Ditto and even Shiny mega hunts, making these pokemon less rare.


Judging by it having only 3 to 5 types of gems the richer player's would pretty much have bought them all anyway.

- The rich will get richer by buying them and then reselling them at an even higher price.
- Shiny pokemon will become less rare as people use those gems to speed up their hunts.
- Half of the difficulty of Shiny-Mega hunting is collecting the gems which I do find enjoyable will be removed as I would buy the gems on a daily basis.
- Some people are never online when the shop restocks or changed stocks each say and it would be unfair for those people loosing out as no matter how many gems are sold people will buy them all for their own hunts.

I personally think this idea might be a good idea especially if they only use the common gems and leave the more expensive ones (Dragon, fairy and normal) out.
They could also have a limited amount of gems. That way it won't make things too easy and the rich won't be able to get that much richer since the gems would decrease in value due to them becoming even more common and people won't be missing out since those gems would be the same as what they can get in the gold slots, rumble areas and gem exchange.
I won't deny that it'll decrease the rarity of shiny pokemon but there are already shiny pokemon being hunted that are so common, they go really cheap already. Some people (myself included) focus on mainly using the daycare and the tall grass for shiny hunts so this would affect those hunts and dragon type and fairy type shiny hunts will still be enjoyable for those who use the gem exchange if the admins only put common gems.
That's just my reason for supporting this

1. Whats the point of rumbling areas and Boxes if this is added?
2. It wont be as hard to get rare gems if this is implemented.
3. It will make getting ditto too freaking easy

There won't be fun if this happens.. People can easily get the gems they need, shiny hunt with those gems and get the ditto and bird trios..
The value of the gems would reduce a lot!~
