Elvira giggled as she was bear hugged, and returned it with her own. "I brought the woman home, I'm okay and so is she, neither of us is hurt, though that man is. So, what happened was after you left the light flickered and that gave me the chance to run up and knock him a couple good ones, and then you'll never believe what happened next!" A huge grin filled her face. "Pixie showed up!!! She made sure we were both okay before taking the guy to the police, not taking, but flying him! She straight up flew on wings that she had that were hers! It was so amazing!" She was already panting from running, but now she was just plain outta breath from being so excited.

Roxy's grin grew as she listened to her friend talk about her with such excitement. Temptation to tell her that she was Pixie grew but she held her tongue. She couldn't. Not now, maybe, probably not ever. "Darn! Missed all of the excitement! I brought an officer over but he left when we couldn't find you. Sounds like she has it covered though. I'm glad you both are alright and that he's taken care of."

Elvira nodded then checked her phone. "Damn! I'm gonna be late for class! And I still have to grab my things!" She looked around frantically for a moment before turning wide eyed to Roxy. "Which way is home?" She chuckled, knowing it sounded stupid, but she'd gotten herself turned around with getting the woman home. Plus, it pulled the topic off of the alley and what happened there even further, and soon it'd be easier to explain.

"Oh! Right!" Roxy gasped, looking concerned. "This way," she said, pointing to where they needed to go. "We can make it back in about five minutes if we run. Do you know where you're going for class or should I lead you there? I should get your number too. Soi that if you need me, you can call or text," she added, pulling out her own phone.

"I can run, and yes I know where the class is, I stopped there before I came to meet you. Just tell me your number and I'll put it in once I get to class." Elvira started heading down the road at a brisk walking pace, planning to start running once she heard the number. She also planned to input the information into her phone as she ran using her ability.

Roxy laughed a little, shaking her head before listing off her cell number. "Text me when you get a moment and let me know it's you so I've got yours. I'm headed back as well. Gotta grab things before work. I figured we'd run back together, assuming I don't slow you down too much." I shouldn't though. Not with me being me and able to give myself a better advantage at running.

"Got it, I'll text you once I get there." Elvira chuckled upon hearing her laughter. "You look like you're a runner, I doubt you'll slow me down," She picked up her speed and ran, her footfalls light for someone wearing somewhat clunky looking shoes. Though her attire perfectly fits whatever she seems to be doing. Though jeans are rather multi-functional.

Roxy smiled, making sure she didn't overdo it on the shifting. Just enough to not seem suspicious. "I look like a runner? I don't think I ever noticed. But they always look so cool in magazines. It'd be neat if I did run. Then again, it also seems like a lot of work some days." She went quiet after that, focusing on her running and staying even with Elvira while not bumping into people.

Elvira had done a lot of running before, and had watched plenty of "free running" and other running "hacks" and had gotten plenty of scrapes and bruises to get decent at it. She kept her pace steady and wove in and around people to keep from bumping into them. A few quick pardon mes and they made it to the apartment. "A lot of work, but it's worth it. Gets you where you need to go fast." She chuckled, a little out of breath as she headed for their room.

Roxanne laughed, a little breathless. "That's true. I'll see you in the morning then. Have a good class!" She made her way into her room to busy herself and look like she was getting ready for work. She planned to grab her satchel after Elvira left. She'd put her purse in the dark bag and hide it up on the roof. That way, if Elvira came home first, she'd have her things and be changed to look like she'd been at work without giving away the fact she hadn't been.

"Thanks! Have fun at work!" Elvira called out from her room as she grabbed what she needed from her suitcase and stuffed it into her backpack, the sweatshirt, bandanna, and shoes, near the top since she'd be getting into them after class. She had nothing to worry about. She could change before she got home, and could put other things on top of the clothing items. She headed out for class and got there with a few minutes to spare.

Once her roommate was gone, Roxy shoved her things into the dark bag in her hand and pulled out her purple outfit and mask. Locking the door, she changed and shifted before scrambling out onto the fire escape and climbing to the roof. Once up there, she stored her bag and shifted into some wings. "...my roommate thinks I'm cool!" she whispered to herself, happy. "Thought it was neat I have wings!" She couldn't believe it! Taking to the air, she flew over her city, ready to guard it.

Elvira listened and watched through class intently, taking notes on important things every now and then. After class got out two hours later, she went outside and turned out a few lights in a nearby alley and used the darkness to change. Then she started walking to the woman's house that she helped earlier. She wanted to just take a look to see if things were okay.

Roxy decided it was time to check in on the poor woman she and Elvira had helped earlier that day. She figured the police would have come and gone by now and the girl would be asleep. Or trying to sleep. It was the best time to make sure no one came snooping my her apartment.

Elvira had arrived and remembered about the dog, so she decided that getting close wasn't a good idea. So she stuck to the shadows, turning lights off here and there until she had worked her way to a good vantage point. She could see the woman asleep on the couch with the dog laying on the floor in front of her, the tv still on.

Roxy, from the sky, noted the strange flicker of lights. Following the trail, as she suspected, she ended up just outside the woman's apartment. Who was here? What was their purpose? Blending in seamlessly with the shadows, Roxy cast her night vision enhanced eyes around. Her enhanced sense of smell helped as well. Silently, she snuck up on the person she'd followed.

Elvira watched silently for a while, trying to figure out what the woman was watching. Just the sports channel, but the woman was obviously sleeping. She stretched out her hand to focus her energies to shut off the tv and the small lamp that was on the end table next to her. She smiled under her bandanna. At least things ended well for her. What to do next? Perhaps try to find the Pixie again?

Roxy moved in closer as the tv and lamp shut off. "...can I help you?" she asked the stranger, willing to give benefit of the doubt but highly suspicious. A man tries to mug the girl and later, someone with powers shows up? Seemed highly unlikely. Then again, she was there and she had powers. So there could be a logical and reasonable explanation. She prayed there was one.

Elvira was just about to get up and leave when someone from right behind her spoke. She jumped to her feet as the light above them burst, briefly showering them in sparks. When she turned she froze. It was Pixie again, but how would she work her way out of this one, perhaps she had seen what happened, but since everything was under control she didn't feel a need to step in. "No, I don't need help, I was just checking in on her after the day she's had with almost being mugged and all, though of course you know that, Pixie."

Pixie paused, taking in the sparks. "Wait...are you...Spark? I heard there was another vigilante like myself out and about. Was it...you were the one that turned off the light, giving that nice woman a chance to step in and help?" She asked, pricing it together with what Elvira had said. "Oh wow...I...I've never met someone else like me, on this side of the law. We have to do a watch together, if you aren't busy!"
