"Pixie? She's a shapeshifter... That's so awesome!" Elvira definitely wanted to meet this Pixie. "I would hear about this other powered person, Spark... From what I heard they can control electricity and conduct currents through their hands, and even control technology." She used gender neutral terms as an extra safeguard. She never knew if she'd accidentally run into Roxy while she was out at night, so if Roxy thought that Spark was male, she'd be less likely to make a connection. "But someone who controls rats? He just sounds a little," She shuddered, not really wanting to say weird, but she hoped Roxy would get the idea.

"Yeah, I get you. I'm all for not jumping to conclusions or judging people, but what he did and said...what happened to those poor workers? Yeah...that guy was weird. You can have a strange power and not hurt people. And Spark, huh? I don't think I've heard about that one. Where are they based? What city do they look out for?" Roxy asked, curious about the new vigilante. She wondered if she could team up with someone. It'd make looking out for the city a hell of a lot easier if she had backup to call and someone to split the city guarding.

Elvira nodded, her lips pursed. "Weird is right, and based? I heard they traveled. Last I heard about them they were in a city near here actually. I think it'd be amazing to meet either one of them." She chuckled. "Spark or Pixie that is, not the rat guy..." She shuddered for comic effect before finishing her soup. "The food here is amazing, I think I'll be stopping here quite often," She grinned before starting the lo mein, to which she moaned quietly, not wanting to disturb the other diners. "This really is good, I'm gonna have to find a gym to work out at to keep off the freshman fifteen again." She wasn't a freshman, but when new food was introduced, it was always a concern.

"I'm with you on that. I'd love to meet someone like them. Yeah, the food around here is amazing. It's hard not to overindulge. So far, I've managed to keep myself from gaining too much," Roxanne chuckled, enjoying the chicken and rice in it's sauce. She didn't have to worry about gaining weight. She could shift it off. And shift herself into just about anything she wanted to wear or to give herself as much strength as she needed. It was nice to know she wouldn't be caught in a situation she couldn't reasonably get out of. Though, she worried about finding herself. Was she born looking like this? Or had she gotten stuck somewhere along the way and now her fathers wouldn't recognize her if they saw her? Shoving those deeper thoughts out of her head, she focused on the here and now.

Elvira had finished as much of her meal as she could, leaving almost half the plate full. When the bill came she snagged it, put her card in and handed it back to the waitress before Roxanne could do much of anything. "My treat, no arguments. A thank you for welcoming me so warmly into your abode." She slid out of the booth and made a sharp bow while offering a hand to Roxy to help her out of the booth. "Now that we're friends I should probably let you see my different sides as well," She had more than one "side" to her personality, and now that she had someone just as quirky as her, she could let them out without much worry.

Roxanne had opened her mouth to argued over it but sighed, sensing she wouldn't be winning. They'd just butt heads. Shaking her head, she took Elvira's hand with a smile. "Fine. But next meal I'm covering. No ifs, ands or butts, my friend. And I would love to see your different sides. We all have different sides to ourselves, don't we? Parts we don't share with everyone. Shall we head back? I should grab a few things for work before I set off. And you probably want to grab your school stuff."

Elvira nodded, the side of her mouth quirked up a little as she won. "Alright, next meal is yours, and yes, I do need to grab my school stuff." This time she held the door for Roxanne and began figuring out where she'd need to go. First it was to class, but that ended at midnight thirty so she'd have more than enough time to get around and get a basic lay of the land. She took a deep breath of the air as they walked down the street. "The city does look nice at night," Her blue eyes reflected the lights making them look like they were full of stars as her head swiveled around taking in the buildings.

Roxanne smiled, nodding. "That it is. There are some absolutely stunning sights around here. During the night and the day. I'll have to show you some of them when we have time." She didn't really need to grab anything for work. But she could stash what she grabbed and take off to watch the city. For now, she walked next to her friend, enjoying the night life of their city. That was until she heard the cry of pain and hurried threat. She grabbed Elvira's hand, stilling her. "Wait...I heard something...down that alley," she murmured, inching closer and peering down it. A man had a young woman, who couldn't have been much older then the girls, pinned against a wall. He demanded her purse, watching her shake in fright. "We have to do something," Roxy breathed, not wanting to tip the man off that they were there. He could easily use the girl as a hostage.

"Oh I'd love that," Elvira said as she looked all around before stopping as she heard the sounds too. She felt the cool rush of adrenaline and let out a smooth even breath. "Go get the police, you're probably faster than I am, hurry..." She whispered softly, pushing her along. Once Roxy was out of sight she planned to make her move. She glanced over her shoulder to make sure the coast was clear before she made the light above the alley turn off. Once it was off, that was her moment. She moved down the darkened alley and for a few split seconds she made the light come back on. In that time she put her bare hand on the attacker's neck and before she shocked him into unconsciousness, she shut the light off. When it came back on, the man was on the ground. "Ma'am, are you okay? Did he hurt you?" She looked the woman over and tried to get the woman to focus and think clearly.

Roxy ran, darting into another alley before pulling out her outfit and shrinking down. She yanked on the jumpsuit and grew to fill it, changing her looks in a matter of seconds. Once she was set, she ran back out, darting back into the alley to find Elvira checking over the woman. She paused, staring dumbfounded at the man on the ground before looking back to her friend. What had she done to incapacitate him? "Are you two okay?" she asked, her voice higher pitched and with a different accent. "I heard someone cry out and came running. What happened?" Roxy asked, pretending she didn't know what was going on. The woman was clinging to Elvira, crying into her shoulder in relief. "H-He was...he tried....he..." she sobbed, babbling incoherently.

Elvira gently held the woman understanding the fear she must've just felt. "I know, he tried, but did he hurt you?" She heard the other voice and looked over before she froze. What is that? Pixie? "We're, we're fine... I managed to sneak up on him and clock him one before anything major happened..." She was a bit awestruck. She had wanted to meet this Pixie, and here she was. Not quite what she was expecting, perhaps a little small in the frame, but that wouldn't matter if shapeshifting was the power. She looked back to the woman and patted her back gently. "Ma'am, I'm going to walk you home okay? Where do you live?" She asked as she looked over to Pixie again. "Could you take care of this?" She lightly kicked the body of the man. She wanted to look in his wallet and find his name, but she'd have to find it in the police reports later on. There was a woman who needed help first.

The woman shook her head, then with shaking hands pulled out her drivers license with her address. She didn't trust herself to speak coherently and without breaking down. She was grateful to the dark haired woman who'd saved her though. Roxy nodded, her gaze becoming steely as she glared at the man. "Of course I can. With a rundown of his activities. Miss? I'm going to need your name. So they can follow up on you later," she added, her voice softening as she spoke to the trembling girl Elvira was attending to. The girl nodded, whispering her name. Pixie nodded before gently giving her a hug. "I'll put him where he can't hurt you again. You just let this woman take you home. I'll swing by later and check to make sure no one comes around your apartment. Relax. You're in safe hands now," she told her reassuringly. Between both woman's encouragement, the girl had calmed down enough to speak. "Thank you both...I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't come along..." Roxy smiled, releasing her before moving to pick up the offender and throw him over her shoulder like he weighed little more then a stuffed animal.

Elvira read the address and figured she'd ask the woman to guide them to her home since she didn't know her way around the town yet. She noticed how easily Pixie moved the man, very surprised by her strength, though with shapeshifting she could make herself as strong as she wanted. "Ma'am, I'm new here, so I'll need you to start walking to your home," She gently slid her arm under the woman's to steady her in case of her fainting or getting lightheaded and dizzy. "I have a friend who went off for the police, she should be coming back shortly," As she spoke she mentally cussed for not getting Roxy's number earlier. She could call her and tell her that it's okay and it's being taken care of. Oh boy did she have a story to share.

The young woman began leading the way by telling Elvira where they needed to go. "Thank you for helping me. I don't know what I'd do if you hadn't come along." Pixie kept her expression neutral so as not to give away the fact she hadn't gone to the police. If she hurried, she could run the guy she had to the station and alert them before hurrying back. "Be safe," she told them before taking to the air and flying off, her wings more birdlike now to accommodate the extra weight. She wasn't sure what she'd do or how she'd find Elvira again without a good explanation. She wasn't suppose to know where this woman lived. She'd have to just stay outside the alleys, looking worried.

Elvira walked along with the woman, her eyes scanning the area. "Someone else would have, you'd have been okay." She wanted the woman to not worry about what might've happened, and focus on calming down further. She heard Pixie say something which drew her attention back just in time to see her fly off. "I'll have to find my way back here to catch up with her once I get you home. I'll have a good deal of explaining to do," She chuckled, hoping to cheer the woman up. "Do you have any pets or family that lives with you?" She wanted to turn the questions to something other than what just happened and make some small talk as they moved, so as to not walk in awkward silence.

"No family in the city but I do have a dog. Rufus, my German Shepherd. He'll keep me safe. What about you?" She asked. Roxy, meanwhile began her decent in front of the police station. One of the officers a, on a smoking break, stared at her dumbfounded. Quickly, Roxy explained, giving him the victims name and address so he could check in with her. Then Roxy took off. She wasn't going to be caught and she needed to go change to met back up with Elvira.

"Me? I just moved here for college. I'm in a vocational class studying to be an electrician or repairman for technology, so no, no family. Just an awesome roommate who's a great friend. Once i get you home I'll be heading back to see if I can find her since I sent her off to find the police..." Elvira sighed slightly, she would have to lie to Roxy a little with how she subdued the man, but she could distract from that by going on about how she met Pixie.

"That is nice. Hopefully your classes won't be too bad," the girl said, focusing on the normal. Pointing to an apartment building, she said, "This is it. I live on the fifth floor so I should be safe." Roxy fly around for a few minutres, making sure that if she had someone trailing after her, she'd lost them. Then she shrank down, making sure she was tiny and only about the size of a small bird before heading back to the alley with her stashed purse. There, she quickly changed and stored her stuff. Once ready, she made her way back out to wait for Elvira. She figured she'd have to lie and say the police left when they saw no one in the alley.

"I have a knack for anything with an electrical current." Elvira chuckled and followed the woman's finger to see the building. "Alrighty then, oh, might want to invest in some pepper spray. That way when they ask for your money, pull that out and get them in the eyes. Keep yourself safe." She waved and watched the woman get inside before running back to the alley where she left Roxy. "Hey! Roxy!" She called out when she spotted her. "You'll never guess what happened!" She said in a huge string of words, still panting from running.

Roxy turned and sighed in relief. She wasn't feigning concern as she pulled Elvira into a bear hug. "Where did you go? What happened? I came back and you weren't here! I thought he'd kidnapped you both! But that didn't make sense. You seem more then capable of handling someone like that. I fgured he was threatening your lives to get you to go along! Are you okay? You aren't hurt, are you? She asked in an rush, pulling back just enough to inspect her friend.
