Need some help/your opinion


Hi everyone.... I need your opinion on my future Shiny Mega Sceptile hunt!

I started collecting Grass Gems for this hunt 1 1/2 years ago (beginning of 2016) and have almost 40k Gems (= 40%) now.... but now I can't decide if I should just keep collecting the Gems or just start this hunt X_x
1 - Should I keep collecting Grass Gems till I have at least 100k Gems so I will be able to get 1000 eggs from the Gem Collector.
2 - Should I just start my hunt with the Gems I have after my Keldeo hunt.
3 - Should I just start my hunt before my Keldeo hunt, so I can hopefully collect some more egg storages and have more time to fill them with Keldeo eggs, so this hunt will be faster...

I really don't know what to do at the moment and even if it's not a 100% Shiny Mega post, I hope you will be able to help me with my decision @__@
If you have another idea or so, I am also open to other succestions :D

After doing a normal Shiny hunt of a Starter I would reccomend collecting at least 100k Because that would help Majourly, if I could convince you I would say collect even more! Starter hunt are just a pain, they're breeding rate are really poor so I would for sure collect at least 100k.

But again feel free to disagree <3 Do as you please, if you want do a different easy SM hunt like Swablu or something and then sell the Shinys and MA's for Gems! That's what I'm going to do with Gastly for Bug gems xD

Well that's also a good idea... I mean to hunt another SM and sell the Shinies/mega ables for Gems, but it seems I am not that good at getting them traded for Gems, but I can try again XD
And if I can't trade them for Gems, I could always try to sell them in the AH for some PDs for my egg storages, I hope :D

Thanks for your opinion and suggestion, it really helped :D
I just really hope I can be patient enough while collecting the gems XD

@Kimie, I would do your Keldeo hunt first. Theoretically if it goes well, it will be the faster hunt as you already have.. 52 egg storages? That's above max chance, so if you bank on a swift hunt then that'll be the fastest just "get it out of the way" thing. Albeit my Keldeo hunt was a load of pidgey droppings, as well as Klepto's and strawberries' hunts, but that's besides the point.

I can't really say anything about the gems because that's about the number I stopped collecting at so I could start it with the daycare. And we all know how that went, but I'm sure I was just extremely lucky.
But eh, you could still start it with the daycare first and continue to buy grass gems to use at a later date? Does it really matter when you use the gems, as it will net you 1k eggs whether you use it now or later.

Kimie, I would suggest the first option of collecting 100k first since it's always good to be prepared but also starters take longer to breed and grass gems are more common to come around than most other gems in my opinion.

I can't do the coding as I'm on mobile at the moment but I am currently doing my Gengar hunt! So looking for ghost gems 1k each

Still also collect bug gems (1k) and Posion gems! 750 PD each

because: Partly for the challenge, but I Started my SM hunting with Aerodactyl because I think pterodactyls are really cool! Plus, I always went after Old Amber in the games.

Hey everyone :)
Just wanted to thank you, Nexanda & Furret, for your opinions and suggestions about my future Shiny Mega hunt, I think I will wait and do my legendary hunt first, like you said and hope for the best :D
@Nexanda, I hope it's okay if I 'use' your idea of the easy shiny mega hunt to get the gems and use your prices as template or so, I don't know what exactly I will do, just wanted to let you know that I would love to also use your idea and hope that's okay :D
