Corri just sobbed. She sounding broken, like an unfixed china doll.
The girl was shaking very hard. Tori stared at Arius, scared. Tears
still slipped down her face.
It let out a hiss, the arrows not digging very far into its hard
skin. Screeching again, it went into a pose, seemingly ready to
pounce...
(I remember the flamethrower guys wise words... That the wendigo
can only be killed with fire, which burns away its harder skin and
reveals a much softer layer of skin)
Cristina
"Fire... Fire... Only fire..." She murmured over and over, rocking
slowly.

Tears started to slip out of her eyes. She knew how to kill it, but
had nothing to burn it. She was screwed. She starred into its eyes,
watching its every move.
Corri looked at Chris, nodding as she pulled s lighter from her
bag, and a piece of paper. She was scared and still sobbing. Tori
hissed under her breath as Arius ran away, still crying. The
Wendigo turned to the movement, chasing the girl.
Jumpping from tree to tree, she stopped when she was as close to
the monster as possible. Gazing saddly at the crystal pendulum,
Maru took a deep breath, taking out a small lighter. Waiting for
the right time, Maru set fire to her precious weapon before
dropping out of the tree and running towards the Wendigo. At the
right moment, Maru jumped, so that she was bow behind the monster.
Spinning the pendulum quickly, Maru sent the weapon sailing, and
with a quick snap of her wrist, the flaming pendulum burned the
hard outer skin and the crystal cut into its vulnerable skin.
Landing lightly, Maru began to run for her life.
Corri dropped the two items, buring her face in her hands. She
stifled sobs, her shoulders heaving. The paper blew across the
floor, making noise. "I'm sorry..." She whispered. Tori shot up at
the screaming, but let out an agonized noise as pain shot through
her back. She began to sob.
Quickly stamping out the fire on her weapon, Maru stowed it away,
not wanting to see it. Looking back, Maru gazed saddly at the dying
Windigo. "May these weiry bones find peaceful rest." She murmured,
as she started to walk back to the tree where she left Rayne in.
"Nononono, no." Corri said to herself, staring at her hand with
horror. Fear tore at her, her breathing become heavy and broken.
Sobs continued to ripple from her throat...
