Take away the thing that makes you have to be on someone's friendlist to palpad them. That seems kinda weird, considering how the palpad is used to talk with people and make friends. And if someonw doesnt want to talk to people, then just block them

No support.
Some people may only want their friends to contact them.
I doubt those people would want to block the entire site.

No support.

Actually, PAL pad is used to talk to friends, not to make them.
Plus yeah, some people prefer only talking to friends.

No support. The PM can be used if you want to talk to someone that has their palpad on friends only.

Blocking is very different to having your palpad on friends only. Blocking means that you don't want to have any form of contact with a specific person.

I too don't support this suggestion for reasons already stated.

I personally don't set my Pal Pad to Friends Only because I prefer it over Private Messages and in case anyone needs to get in contact with me quickly, but it can get very annoying to be flooded with SPAM-like or Begging Pal Pad messages from strangers, especially if you haven't had the best day. Setting it to Friends Only eliminates this problem.

And, as stated previously, Private Messages do exist. They can be used to contact a user whose got the setting set to Friends Only.

I also feel that blocking should be used a last resort to when someone crosses too many lines, not as a substitute for the Friends Only option.

Well normally Palpads are open for everyone, but there's a privacy option that lets users set their Palpad to be friends-only. I'm pretty sure it has a reason when users make use of this setting, so I don't see why this should be removed.

Moving to rejected.
