When i think of my first attempts of doing an animation in FA (i hate coloring there, tbh :x) it looks really good! Keep going and practise more! I know it's kind of confusing and hard in the first times, but you can do it! <3

How did you manage to keep it from smudging everywhere?

i like to draw with charcoal every once in a while
as for the smudging part...
this one was drawn in...
25-30 minutes
So just quick strokes, nothing fancy
So, i guess my hands and sleev didn't touch the drawing
erhm, i guess a strategy to keep it from smudging is to work from left to right [right handed people]
other than that
erhm... no idea?
i mean, if i am not careful, i'll get jetblack fingers because i grip it higher than the al. foil XD
for a more detailed charcoal drawing of mine, i'd either look at the shadow beast or the shadow

Charcol is my favorite thing to use for realistic drawings :3

And ah ok, makes sense. I have a hard time keeping my hand from touching the paper so that's probably it. xD I'll try harder to keep that from happening :P

And my hand is always black after using charcoal lol

I want to see the other drawings but either DA or my internet is acting up and won't display the images :(

You might be surprised, but I'm experiencing the same issue. Almost nothing of the linked images can be seen, and DA isn't loading either?

hahaha, i sometimes have fingerprint on the paper as well
i suppose you can try to smudge the entire paper grey

it's not the problem that PH put pokeheroes in front of the link, right?
it is loading for me, oddly enough
i'll post the drawings in a spoiler below
i made the images clickable, see if that works?
they are a bit big and i believe i have posted them before?

No, DA is having issues, i think
the things on the front page load fine for me
no problem at all
but some of my images don't load
as well as my ENTIRE stash
so... GG DA, ya done goofed again

Honestly, that's breathtaking! It seems to have a blue glow around it and I love it!

Bun sans is best buns. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but the way the shoulders are drawn and the lack of elbows really just "fits" with the head. It makes it so much easier to visualize a fluffy bunny under all that coat.

I hate lineart too, which is why you never see LINES in any art I do lmao
I really like the colours, and the only critique I can give is that-the forehead seems a bit small honestly, I think it'll help if you were to reduce the spacing between the nose and the mouth, by just moving the whole upper face down just a bit.

I'm going to admit, there have been times where I've seen you guys submit new art, but didn't really make any comments on it-usually because those times usually involve having art I couldn't think of critiques with.
And now I realize that it's better if I were to say a "that's really good!" Than to not post anything about it just because I wasn't sure what to say on it for critiques.
And I'm really sorry for that now because I realize that people because of that can/will begin to feel ignored, if a lot of people were to do the same.
And I think that was what was actually happening, no one really wanted to be like- "No your art doesn't matter to me whatsoever", but I believe that a lot of people really thought "All I really can comment is a generic 'good job', so I don't really need to comment on it."
Although personally, I can't see the "friend group" that a lot of people were talking about, so that just confuses me a bit, mainly because I think I'm really not that active recently. But besides that, I'm really sorry for every one who felt that they got ignored, and I'll try to be more active on here so that I can give more feedback.
also I know I'm late to this, the past few days I just had PH open while watching some youtube videos and from time and time chatting on Palpad, which is why I had 'ONLINE' on my profile, but didn't seem to be doing anything whatsoever.
