Looks alright so far, though the back legs of the cat on the left look kinda awkward.. I don't really have words to describe it, just look kinda strange to me.

Yeah! That sounds like a great idea! Maybe try drawing a dragon-looking one, like a heartred croaker, one of the goblins etc.?
