"I'd call it an observation. I've got eyes, don't you?" Cell
snapped back at him. He paid no mind to the rest of whatever Nappy
said, opting to lift his shoulders in a shrug. He debated on taking
one of the shattered wood pieces as a weapon, but was he really
going to use it...nah.
"Think mister electric's driving K crazy yet?" He asked as he
exited the room.
"I told you not to scream"Kya hissed as he saw the
Rotom leaving.
The Umbreon wondered if it had been a good idea to go first, or if
he could just let the rotom go and head to the other side. Yeah, he
would just take a look and if there wasn't anything interesting
he'd go back. Kya took the path with less scratches and let
the rotom continue on his own.
Why was he not surprised that he answered like that. His second
sentence made him chuckle a bit "course he is, don't think anyone
in this whole mansion can stand his yappin.'"He was trying to think
of a different conversation topic...ugh nothing, whatever time to
go back.
Kya's path can only continue forward, though if he squinted
using the flashlight's light: he could see there were more paths
ahead. It was another fork in the road, left and right. If he were
to look down at the trail of scratches, he'd see that they would
led towards the left turn. Otherwise...and maybe it was a trick of
the wind...there was a soft whimpering sound to be heard down this
corridor.
"Hey, you haven't met the 'master' of the mansion yet, have you?"
The reason for this question, the Lucario figured, was to
see if there might have been something he missed in the Kingdra's
behaviour. Then again, could he really trust the Druddigon's
opinion? Eh...what did he really have to lose?
Retracing their turns, this time he took a right turn (which
was originally a "forward" path before they took a right. So many
turns!).
"The...master? Oh, you mean that weird kingdra? Or the grumpig,
we've seen each other at breakfast."he secretly tough 'and you were
there, and he was there "Tough we didn't really speak to each
other"before he took the turn he stumbled back a bit, man this
place gave him the creeps'ah well whats life without a bit of
danger' he thought to himself as he turned right.
There was only one path for the pair, the Druddigon and Lucario
could only go forward. If they had a light, however, they might
have noticed something odd on the walls of this "corridor".
Markings that looked something like writing, maybe runes, or just
plain scratches in an incomprehensible manner. Oh well. Maybe if
they meet up with someone that has a lantern or other light,
they'll be just fine later on...
"Oh were you? I thought you were still reading then." Cell
had assumed that then. He wasn't one for making super sure of his
surroundings when he was thinking about magic and the like--that
wasn't his thing. So when Nappy pointed that out, he winced to
himself and muttered under his breath about changing his habits for
the better--as it should be.
"So uh...reading." He tried to bring that up again, not knowing
what else to say. It didn't sound like he could get much from the
dragon about the two "hosts", so...yeah. Reading.
What did the Lucario even know about reading anyway? He
continued in the lone forward path.
"wind.." Kya decided to follow that air current, he forgot about the
scratches and followed that path. It may have been a trick, but air
is supposed to come from an open space right?
Strangely enough he couldn't hear the rotom screams anymore..
The Umbreon really enjoyed that
Thats what you tought.
Wattender came flying right after Kya, getting his face slammed on
the nearest wall "OH. MY GOD!!!! WHY IS THERE AIR NOW! DID YOU KNOW
THAT HALF OF FISH POPULATION DIES A TOXYGEN!!"
"...WHERE DOES IT EVEN COMES FROMMM!"
"Fish Population?"
What he hell.. Where did that guy come from? How did Watt even knew
how to find him?
Oh.. right, the lantern "Stop shouting!!" ughh.. Kya didn't knew how to even
start. He wasn't good on social siruations, and it seemed
completely useless to try doing a "normal conversation" with the
rotom
Hey, at least the light around Watt could work as a lantern. "YES!!
FISH. DIES! NOW ARE WE GOING TO PROGRESS ON THIS PLACE OR NOT!!!"
he screamed more "I AM S I C K OF CARRYING FURNITURE INSIDE
FURNITURE! LETS JUST FINISH THIS OFF!"
Another fork waited Kya (and Watt) : a left turn, and continuing
on forwards. It might take a moment, but the left turn is where the
wind sound was (conceivably) coming from. At least, it appeared to
be louder in that direction. On the other hand, there might be some
merit in going forward...which will they choose?
With the use of the flash light, the left-turn appears to be a
dead-end (or was there another turn there that could be taken?).
While the forward path appears to continue on in a straight-forward
manner (pun not intended).
The Umbreon stoped walking and pointed the flashlight to the
rotom's eyes... "Stop Shouting"
He pointed the flashlight back at the path hoping to be able to see
what was ahead or at least a part of it.. "Why do you carry all the furniture anyway?"
"WHAT IF WE END UP FINDING A MONSTER WITH A TYPE WEAKNESS!"
Wattender screams "...LETS JUST GO...UH...WHY DONT I GO FOWARD AND
YOU GO LEFT! BYE!" Wattender exclaims, going foward on the path.
"Wait what?"
Yeah.. useless to talk, anyway Kya didn't wanted to do what the rotom told him.. but he
couldn't stand more time with all the screaming.
The Umbreon went Forward
In going forward, the pair find a right turn along with another
forward path. Using the light of the flashlight though, it appeared
that the forward-most path contained another dead-end. Whereas the
right-turn had no particular markings or signs of interest, and the
sounds of wind faded ever more so behind them...
On the other hand, Napoleon and Cell would find themselves at
another fork: forward, or right? The sound of dripping water was
coming from one of these paths...but which one?
"There's nothing here Watt.. I say we go back to the place the
wind came from" Kya said as he turned back to the last turn he made and took
the left path, towards the place the wind was supposed to
come from.
Wow, even if he wasn't even trying to be rude, he's still rude.
"Look, it's obvious you don't know anything about reading, you even
choosed to pick reading as a topic instead of books. Just name a
topic you're comfortable with, I'll adapt" he said moving forward
while noticing another split "right?" the druddigon suggested.
Contrary to Kya's first opinion of that left turn, there was a
right turn to be made--and then a path forward down a corridor. The
wind noises picked up, but if one were listening carefully...it
sounded like heaving breaths. Sobbing? Maybe panting? It was hard
to tell. Maybe he should continue onwards...or should he turn back
to find the other pair?
"Whoa there, mister judgemental." Aside from the pot calling the
kettle black, Cell kept up his sneer, "Who said I haven't
read anything? I've read books you've never even heard of." Blatant
lie, but he wasn't going to admit to nothing under pressure.
About the direction of where to go though, he didn't bother to nod:
he just went for the right turn.
Another right turn can be made here. There were some specks of
dried blood on the floor of the current "room" that they were in,
but they would be hard to see without a light of some kind. There
was something hanging on one of the walls, but it looked like a
small cloth of some sort. Unless it was made of another kind of
material...? That would require further investigation though.
"Watt?"
Where was that guy.. The "wind" did started to sound like
breathing
Maybe he should go back and look for the others, but Kya
knew that he wouldn't see them, not even with the flashlight. So he
went forward down the corridor.
"Like?" Was the response of the druddigon "bet you don't even know
a midsummer's dream by Shakespeare" he replied half-jokingly. Upon
entering the next room a chill ran down his back, what the heck? Is
that blood? Was there even another turn anywhere? Gaah whatever,
supplies are supplies, he tried to take the cloth from…wherever it
came from, he didn't really want to think about that.
