Was sooo excited about this then i tried fishing.. How am i suppose to catch the fish after i see a !! Above my head?? Where do i click, if i click wrong will the 'fish' go away??


Please someone enlighten me.. (This is sooo different than on any pokemon game i fished on)

@calzur, below the graphic of the user, there is a clickable button that says pull rod, once you've done that, you have to watch the bar to the left of the screen, there will be the outline of a fish on it that will be solid black when the yellow bar is on it. If you click when the fish is black it moves up, if you miss it goes back down, once the fish is at the top of the bar you've caught it :) hope I helped :)

Ahh righto, thank you jedi_rey619.

Juat tried that, is it just me or is that yellow bar thingy moving extremely fast?
The moment i miss-click the silhouette of the fish i 'caught' moves all the way down.
How am i suppose to get the yellowy bar under it so said fish swims up?



(I know alot of questions.. But i just wanna know((and possibly help fellow PH players)) getting the fishing part done properly.)

The bars pace is determined by the poke/item on the hook(if I'm not mistaken that is) so the faster it moves the better/rarer the item/poke.. and you have to click at the exact right moment when the fish is a solid black and the bar is behind/on it. I haven't caught a darn thing yet, but I just figured out that there is major lag with mobile so I have to tap like a second before the fish is solid to get it to move up... Good luck :)

Yeah, found out indeed(im playing PH on ipad) that whenever the fish is at bottom its almost impossible to get it up.

Might be lag or meant to be dunno.. But its rather nerve wrecking >.<

You click the yellow square when it's above the fish, not below. And for better chances, click slightly earlier instead of exactly on the fish. (This works for me on mobile)

For the energy question, you can buy food in the restaurant for a certain amount of energy. But be aware you can buy only one of each per day, or there could be consequences.

Oh geez, is the shiny rate up? I got my first shiny just from fishing, how lucky! *hugs cute lil tentacool* This feature is awesome : )

FYI impossible on a mobile device :,( I understand how it works, believe me. But I can't catch a magikarp with 45 seconds? This sucks :(

I have been at the beach since the moment it opened. It is really fun. I have caught a lot of fish pokemon. And two items. Just waiting to catch a few shiny fish pokemon. But that will have to wait.

This was the best new addition ever.

I enjoyed the 30 minutes I got out of it! Happy I managed to get the good rod, too. I do wish the energy would have alternate refill methods or we could buy more food but that's okay - I can wait :P

You need to reach the bar, too ;) You won't know beforehand if it's a pokemon or an item.

I just wanted to say: Thank you very much for this update! Leah art is just beautiful and meals look really really nice. That much that they made me hungry XD Anyway, now as I played this fishing game (Arceus, it took me like an hour untill I ran out of energy ^^) I can say that I won't really regret this Delibird Item Delivery place changing. I wish all of you a nice day on the beach of Emera(ld) Town ^^
