I applied, too! I'm sort of nervous, but it's not like something bad is going to happen if I'm rejected, so I'm not overly scared. ^^

I was wondering if account age mattered when applying to be a Moderator. I've been a Moderator on a few other sites before so I'm pretty experienced already.

Does account age matter?

I think I should go for moderator. I have lots of experience of handling rude behavior from other sites. I say this is a spot where I can have a chance to fit.

Never hurts to try! :3 I applied, and I've never been a mod before (had to enforce rules in plenty of roleplays, but nothing big). Definitely anybody that's thinking about it but nervous at all should try. Really, the worst that happens is that you get turned down. It's not like you'll get banned from the site forever or anything.

Just saying, good luck to all the people who applied! Not going to apply since I'm rubbish at everything and because I'm happy where I am now xD

Why do I get a feeling that one of the 3 (or 4) Regis aismgoing to be the first product of the quest system? That would be so awesome, if they are! :D I'm pretty excited for it! I just hope it's not as complicated as Pokefarm quests. >_>

I like things complicated. But I didn't like the Pokefarm quests where you had to find the specific items by chance in boxes...although I liked trying to find Glitch City and finding the silent Zorua boy after the Celebi event. I think it would be fun if quests were something like that.

just a little misspelled in the "spriter" part
Quoteou want to apply for the job of a Spriter, make sure that you are able to produce scratch sprites. You will mostly be given eiter a scratch or a description of a Pokémon which you would have to sprite as a Pokémon. Please add examples of your past work to your application.
it should be "either" xD

Max here!

Death, but see, what I mean by complicated is that there's nothing there to help you start out the quest. You have figure out how to start and how to continue on your own. That I don't like.

Riako, maybe you should add that there's no age limit to apply for a position.

One of my friends persuaded me to try and apply. So I did.

Reshiram: A good moderator should read threads, especially news threads. And since the age limit is answered in the third post of this topic, it should be known for every future moderators.

Mituna: Yes, there definitely are many applications :D I guess it is going to be really hard for me to decide.

Quote from MitunaI suppose it's competition...

I hope it's not. :'D One should not apply for a moderator/artist/whatsoever on the basis of competition or anything like this, but to help the users make them feel comfortable/welcome, being part of the community and trying to improve the site, imho. :')
But I'm sure Riako/the staffers will do a their best picking only serious offers. :3

Although I agree with Liirah, I'm kind of curious how many people applied just for getting a "golden star". Being a Moderator is work. Hard work sometimes, too. You have always to be up to date you have to have ideas how to improve the site and most of all you have to be active. Every single day, if you can manage.
I just wonder how many of the people who applied realised that.
