August 2013

Hello everybody!
It's finally August and that means that this site is celebrating its one-month anniversary! The first of July has been the Releasedate of this game - as some of you might know already.
There are more than 660 people who registered an account on here in July - and that is really much, in my opinion! Thanks to all of you for giving this site a chance to become a great place for all Pokémonfans :)

But all in all, the site won't stop growing in August. There are going to be several new features and upgrades which you will definitely enjoy! Let's have a look at some of them:

Start exploring quests

Scientists are currently investigating a mysterious cave. It is said that very rare Pokémon are living in there. And it's going to be your job to master difficult tasks, you you're able to compete with this Pokémon!
More information coming next week.

Rumble Battles

I'm pretty sure that I'll finish the Rumble Battling System this month ;) So start being excited for it!

Event Pokémon

Shaymin will not be the only Event-Pokémon! There are going to be more special Pokémon to hatch - but again: More information coming soon.

Here comes my biggest doubt. Spriter or artist.
I can do both things, both sprites, fully scratched, just recolored, maybe simple animated etc. And I can also draw digitally. My style is not exactly like pokemon's one, but I'm willing to try it (I am about to try a couple of tutorials I found on dA). You already saw a small drawing with the Shaymin egg, that is a quite normal style on me.

So, should I apply for spriter or artist? (I think you may prefer artist, since there are more spriters, Mirej is a very awesome spriter)
Also, sometimes I have ideas that could be applied for special things. Maybe I could also do a sketch of an idea, and someone else turn it into a sprite.

TL;DR: I am not sure if I should apply for spriter or artist.

Other than that, I want to say that I am so looking forward to the new rumble battling system, I think that one will be an amazing feature to have. It gives us more things to do in the site. ^-^

I... Hope we're allowed to post here to state our oppinion on the updates. o_x

I'm definitely looking forward to the Rumble Battling and quests.
They'll definitely be great fun and something to do between interacting. :D

Abby: I would recommend you to apply for both categories ^_^ I don't know why you shouldn't be able to help as an Artist and as a Spriter.
If there is more need for an Artist sometimes, then you would have to do drawings (: And if there are no artworks to be done, then you could help with some sprites.
(But that does, of course, not mean that you have to work twice as much as others)

Khes: You're surely allowed to share your opinion on news posts ^_^ I'm always happy when I see comments on updates.

Ok that seems pretty nice ^u^ I'll go and apply right now :3 (and I'll prepare a little bunch of examples, I'm guessing any kind of link is fine, like, I'll link things from tinypic and deviantART, does the url code work in applications?)

You don't have to use the [url]-code in your application. You can use the blank link, too.

(But BBCodes do work in your application, yes. Nevertheless they are not necessarily expected)

Have some trouble with the fomular hope I don´t have advertised me as a moderator but when .. I meant Artist (spriter by the way)

@Umbreon: I know how to make them transparent, but only in Photoshop. What program do you use?
