I go to the auction house mainly to look for keys/boxes/dragon gems/maps. In order to find these I either A.) Have to keep refreshing the page and watch the promoted auctions OR B.) Go through ALL auctions which is VERYYY time consuming and tedious. My suggestion is to simply add another filter to the Auction House which would be called Items. There is one for shiny and mega able Pokémon so why not?

First of all, why would you go to the Auction House for items when a much more reliable and widely used method is through the GTS?
Also, a basic concept of this idea has been suggested here, and many more times from then on.

Everyone in the GTS only wants to trade items for items. At least 90% of the time unless you get REALLY lucky. The auction house you just buy the item with no negotiation. But I do agree a filter the same for the GTS could be helpful as well.

Besides if this has been suggested THAT many times it's obviously a good idea. Just hasn't been spread enough or supported enough. :)

I like the suggestion, even though its' been brought up a few times, so i can't fully support this particular thread, but i do support the idea of being able to have another filter for items though :o

This will make the Auction House page full of big boxes announcing "Shinnies, Mega able, Items". This will be very clumsy.

Instead of it we should have a feature where in we will hover our mouse pointer on the item and get to know which item it is. Same what follows in GTS.

The thing is Sycamore, the other boxes are already there. I'm just suggesting to add another next to the existing boxes.

I actually support this - it would help those of us that simply want to buy items but don't feel like constantly posting feeds saying what we are buying.

@Syacamore What do you suggest for touch devices?

I say that just like the promoted auctions, the item should be shown in ALL the auctions. Problem solved!

I know it was already suggested i'm simply putting more reasoning behind it so that maybe it will get the attention it needs. And I don't mean like when you see an item with a Pokémon you know it has an item I mean when you go to all auctions it does NOT show if there is an item with a Pokémon. You have to physically click each individual Pokémon to see if it has an item with it. I spent 4 hours one day going through about 20 pages. That is ALOT of time to spend looking for an item that you MAY or MAY NOT win.

I would like to add that this would at least separate pokemon and items so that you aren't scavenging all auctions at the house. Also the reason why the GTS wouldn't compare is because in that you also must look through every auction to find what you are looking for. Last I would like to point out that considering the odds you will make more PD by putting an item up in the auction because the starting price is the amount you want and you gain more PD based on how highly coveted the item you are selling is.

But i still think adding one more box in Auction House would make things very clumsy. We already have 4 boxes and adding a 5th box would be very congested and at the end Riako have to decrease the size of each box.
I have no problem in implementation of this suggestion, but i would be Neutral
