You want to disable yourself from optionally subscribing? Why not just not make the choice to subscribe? >.>

What about the users on mobile that accidentally press the button even though they didn't want to?

I support the idea and that I don't have to subscribe and can unsubscribe (which was already mentioned).

I can see how it'd be useful at times for sure and I'm not sure if this would have any negative effects. But what I'd fear the most is that people subscribe to the feed, no biggy, and then someone else says something you don't like. Such as an advertisement, a swear word, derailing the conversation, the usual things we don't like to see in our feeds anyway. Now not only do you have to most likely delete the feed but now you have to make a new one and hope those subscribed see you made a new one. Would those of us subscribed know it was deleted or no? Also someone could spam the feeds, knowing people are subscribed, and fill our notification boxes because "trololol" right?

This isn't a problem with the suggestion itself, it's just something that I see being a problem for the suggestion. So would the person is subscribed know the feed was deleted? Or would it be like with other feeds just not show up in the notifications? Would we have a list on the filter side of our subscribed feeds so we can keep track because that seems nice. Could we somehow prevent spam or somehow stop people from spamming because then it'd not only annoy your notifications but everyone's Dx

I see what you're saying. It could be either way. I'll add your ideas to the first post.

You could stop a person from spamming by reporting them. Other than the deleting feed comments suggestion, I can't think of much else. I also know that the blocking users idea was rejected (unless I'm thinking of something else)

Yea that's true you can report them and hope that fixes it.

But main point I support the idea haha hope I wasn't get too ahead of myself there. Have to wait and see what others think before I start nit picking at possible problems xD

If you reply to someone's feed who's not in your friendlist, you can follow them on the Notification Wall
