As we all know, There is no way to obtain Diancie now. Though a method is suggested already, I want to suggest another Idea which would be Far more easier to programme.
As most users say, Diancie is the top competitor for Kalos Rewars but a new way out provided by.....

Diancie and the Six Carbink
This method is about a new ancient cave quest. When we start this quest, we have to find a map in mystery boxes.^(Suggested title-Diamond Palace) . When the map is found, a message will occur in the ancient cave- " Six legendary carbink, when combine their powers, mutate and a more powerful legend born...."(Written in Unown Language and suggested text). When we obtain the map, we need to find six differently coloured stones, found on the maps (note no battle is required) items to be held by Carbink. When a Carbink holds this, the colour of the Carbink sprite changes to the stone's colour.
When all six carbink with the six stones are in our party, and we visit the Ancient Cave, a message says -
"Six Carbink have met, their queen in arriving, welcome her presence, in the form of the egg!"
The carbink's disappear and a Diancie egg will be recieved.
Note- The map will be active till we find ALL six stones.

Now the second part, how would it be Implemented if it were an event-
I DON'T KNOW how to sprite, but I can give the idea, Diancie based on the concept of snow and clouds, and adorned with them, I think it could do with a mega (SUPPOSE). I think the colour scheme could be Pink fused with bits of light blue.
P.S. If anyone can find me a Sprite matching the Criteria,Please let me know and I'll add the Event sprite WITH CREDIT!

Given the fact that the Dex rewards for Kanto and Johto are Megable Mewtwo, I think Diancie is already in line to be the Kalos reward, as a megable Diancie, due to it having a Mega Evolution.

And the only thing stopping the Kalos dex from being complete, besides the 20th Vivillon, is Carbink itself.

I thought we were supposed to send upcoming event(?) suggestions to an official. Anyways, I will give my review.
I liked the story excluding the Carbink's disappearing and the map to be found from mystery boxes. It could be available from an NPC after a specific task. Carbink's sprite color changing would be funny. People would keep the different colors and newbies would be depressed ending up leaving. And in the end, I dont think Diancei is worth so much effort.
Thats my thought over the story. And I dont know what to vote so I will not vote at all. xD

While it's true we are not sure yet what are the legendary reward for a complete Kalos dex yet a Diancie would be the best option, as it have a mega evolution like Mewtwo.

I also don't get why must we do all this in effort to get Diancie? In my opinion, it's unnecessary to do all of those just for a Daincie. What makes Diancie so special to get both a task and a map? Giratina was released in halloween so the minigame suited the theme and the Raylong is an event pokemon you could only get by doing the Asian Week Event so it only make sense they have a hard/additional task to obtain them.

So? Riako had to come up with something creepy other than the site showing static and a creepy driflion girl for halloween. The first time a Griseous Orb was released it was for 5,000 candies, which isn't much, but everyone was hyped about it nontheless since Riako even purposely added something to give an element of suprise [The minigame]

Though, just because Giratina have a hard task for being 'normal' doesn't mean Diancie can just have a hard task on its own. Diancie is the same as any other legendary [expect being able to mega-evolve like Mewtwo] and like I said, it doesn't need a hard task of it's own just for it.

If this is released, 7 items are going to released just to acquire a Diancie. Giratina is only 3, and even that much is such a pain to get.

Do you even know the origin of Valentine?
The Origin

While it's true the modern Valentine is about love, affection and kindness, the origin of it is that a man who has kept his faith in god was sentenced to death due to his faith. A blind girl visits the man in prison and they talked, the man also educated the girl. The girl has faith in god and prayed for being able to see again, and she gained her vision which she didn't have since birth, but the next day the man was sentenced to death, but left a message with a 'From your Valentine' as the christian man name was Valentinus.

I also fail to see why Diancie suits Valentine at all? Because it's pink? Because you need to somehow gain it's trust? Also what will the pokemon for Kalos region be then? Hoopa? Volcarion(or whatever the name)? But why those two and not the one you could breed for a legendary with a mega-able version?

Also one more problem-
Since Diancie has a mega version, which has really low chances of hatching from eggs, are you suggesting people need to do all of these task more than a hundred times just to get a mega-able? If you're going to suggest higher chances of mega-able hatching or all Diancie can mega-evolve than that's really unfair and unbalanced. Megas are supposed to be rare, especially Mega Legendaries [Not counting those like Groudon,Kyogre,etc]

Also, for a note, you might want to just reply to 'questions' instead of editing the main post to reply it unless the re-quoting the post gives a new benefit/add-on to the suggestion.

Even if you remove a few task or part of the suggestion, my point still stands; Diancie is the perfect pokemon for a Pokèdex Completion reward. To have a feature just like this for Diancie is completely useless and unfair, for users have to do it possibly more than a hundred times just to get a mega-able.

@Sen Well, I have a query, If Diancie (Mega Able) is given as the reward of a Dex (Kalos, of course), then, Will all Diancie on PH will be Mega-Able? This could be just a method to obtain normal (and/or Posibly Shiny Diancie if Riako decides so) But you definitely have a point.

Mega-ables have a low chance of hatching from eggs and the only legendaries that are breedable are the ones which requires to be bred with a Ditto to get their specific entries [Such as Manaphy in the Game Center]

If you wish to change this suggestion for an event Diancie legendary, then write up something about it, such at story, designs, etc. You do not just suggest 'Hey! Add an event Diancie!' you need to add a clear description and story about it.[ While that might actually be more suitable to be PMed to a sprite artist for spoiler purposes ] All event legendaries so far are based off events, but they have atleast a slight 'resemblance' to it, expect maybe Seatran which was just an event redistribution.

I would like to politely point out that you do not need to breed Mewtwo for a chance to get a Mega-Able. The Dex Completion prize Mewtwo from Kanto/Johto are already Mega-Able. (Kanto is Mega-Able X, and Johto is Mega-Able Y). I actually have never seen a Daycare bred, Mega-Able Mewtwo, so breeding Mewtwo to get a Mega-Able might actually not be possible.

So I think it should be the same way with Diancie. Have the Dex prize be the Mega-Able one, and then you'd have to breed it to Shiny hunt it/get a normal one.


As for this suggestion, I'd say go for trying out a Diancie Event.
