We all know the pink pokemon from that one episode of pokemon:


What if we had a special (very rare) rumble map where you can send a pokemon for only 48 hours at a time, and have these chances at items:

5% for Pink Berry
5% Rare Candy
35% Grass Gems
55% Regular berries


The Pink Berry can be given to pokemon that were originally seen in the show as a pink version.
But not ANY pokemon can use the berry. The pokemon will need to have a "bubble" like the mega bubble to show who can evolve via pink berry.
The bubble appears at the same possibility as the mega bubble.


I think it will be a cool addition to pH, and would be a very expensive item to have.

Yes, but only the original pokemon is born. A born pokemon can not be pink.

Can Pink Pokemon be traded?
A:
Yes they can. It won't be a problem if they were traded or sold. They can't be bred anyways.

Should the Pink Pokemon have shiny versions.
A:
I believe no. They could be shiny, but just have a stronger pink look. Nothing special.

Are Pink Pokemon given stat boost?
A:
Just like shinies, no boost are given.

Will Pink Berries be sellable?
A:
Pink Berries should be sellable. It'll be a great way for berries to go around.

Can events have a pink form?

Even if an event pokemon has an original pink form, it can NOT obtain the same thing.

Uhh no support.
First of all these berries can be only found in Pinkan island, so how did it find its way to emera town?
Also, I really don't see the point of having "pink" Pokemon, I mean it's cool, but it literally only showed up once in one episode of Pokemon, so in my opinion it has no place within the pokeheroes lore.
And for "great way for berries to go around" we have the berry market in the garden where you are able to purchase other players berries on sale : /

You already have like six different regions full of pokemon here.
And I have no idea what you mean in pokeheroes lore. I don't even know what lore there is already.

the amount of time that it would take to re sprite all the pokemon on pokeheroes (Including events) would take a very long time, it would take up the time of Riako and the spriters (Mostly the spriters) and i dont find the need for these pokemon, it would take a lot of time for Riako to code all of this like adding the rarity of the map and then adding all the pokemon into pokeheroes (Over 1000)

You are over exaggerating.
There are like...less then 15 pokemon shown to be pink in the show.

I don't know where you got the idea to make them all pink, and events wouldn't be either.
That'll be a new Q/A I can add though.

And to not want to do something for the site is just sad. If you want to add cool things, you can't just be lazy and not want to do it because it's too much work.
If you apply for a job irl, and they make you work overtime, that's not the jobs fault, it's yours.
You applied, you're doing the time, you're doing your job.

If people didn't look at so many things as "too much work", NOTHING would ever get accomplished.

If not, go watch it.

You can't assume everyone on the site has watched every single show. If I hadn't been on pokemon websites, I never would have known of the Pinkan Berry and the effects it has on pokemon. It alters their colors much like the fish do for Flamingos.

But it's a temporary effect. where if they stop eating the berries, they lose the color.
And because of this fact, limiting it to only certain pokemon is kind of.... well, doesn't make any sense, since it's not a limited amount of pokemon affected by it in the show. (Every pokemon that eats the berries for a long enough time will turn pink.)

So if this is implemented, it should affect all normal pokemon. (Shiny pokemon excluded because they are already a different color. Event pokemon included.)

If it's a rumble mission, then I think it should be a one-time unlock thing (Like Yellow Forest or Route 102) and instead of finding the berries, the Pinkan Pokemon can be recruited. Maybe restrict it to where only pink pokemon can go on the mission. (Cleffa, Igglybuff, the evolutions, Luvdisc, Corsola, etc. As well as any Pinkan Pokemon found from there)

Because those are all the official Pokemon in the games and anime, while pink ones were a one-time thing.

A very rare rumble map that'll most of the time give berries and grass gems? Umm, no, let's not.
Also, getting mega bubble Pokemon is arguably the greatest pain. Even getting all the legends and lots of shinies are easier than getting all the megas in my opinion. Throw in pink bubbles and the pain is multiplied by who knows how much.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad suggestion. Just the methods of obtaining these Pokemon need to be re-thought.

I'm at a no for your original suggestion Rakuugen.

However, I think it would make a nice site-wide event as Navuso said and thus get access to Pinkan Island. But, lets look at this a little more.

A little research tells us that -
Pinkan Island is a reserve.
It's surrounded by giant whirlpools, and sheer cliffs.
The pokemon aren't afraid to attack people.
There is an automatic buzzer that goes off anytime someone steps foot on the island.
And it's the Pinkan berries they eat that give then the pink color.

This tell us that we need to -
Have permission to the island.
If pokemon sent there would need able to fly.
And our pokemon would not be able to bring pink pokemon back.


So, how to fit this in with Emera lore.. Maybe Prof. Rowan wants to do some research of is own on the berries and how it effects if has on pokemon.

As for which pokemon would be available vs re-coloring sprites, I think that would depend on the story plot for Emera.

Great idea. I'd love to see that happen. It has more sense, and actually kinda fits in to Emera Town.

@KrazyKarp There's people on the site who have nothing to do but look forward to more events.
With the hard work of a pink pokemon, I don't think they'll mind.
Making it easier won't be far lower leveled players because the higher players won't have anything to do, while lower levels have so much catching up to do.
