I think there should be a way to delete your private messages. When I go to the Private Message tab there are a LOT of Private Messages that are just clutter. As a person who likes to keep things neat it bothers me. I would love to be able to delete older messages that I no longer need to keep around.

No support, people can just message bad things and if the user didnt get a screenshot of it, the person that sent it could just delete it and get away with it, i think there is no need for it.

What?? I'm not talking about the chat box, I'm talking about the actual Private Messages. Go under Community tab, click Private Messages. Like emails, but for Pokeheroes.

I'd imagine it would be like normal email, wouldn't it? If you send an email back and forth you can't just delete an email someone already has, but you can get rid of all the clutter in your mailbox. That doesn't get rid of the content that the other person has it just gets it out of YOUR mailbox.

Full support from me as well.

I've got a few Private Messages(mails) that are 3-4 months old!
and no way to delete them.
I think it should work like email: Whereby when you delete the message from your mailbox it doesn't mean it gets deleted from the other person's mailbox, unless they too, delete it.

(I was actually going to create a new post because I hadn't seen this one on the first page, but something nudged me to check page 2.)

Yeah I was just going through my Private Messages again and I have some that are almost or over a year old. I want them gone so bad lol. I have no reason to still have Private Messages over a year old.

I would only give a like for users who don't own a palpad and get lots of PM but for users like me who don't get lots of PM a no.

I have a palpad and use it mostly, but there are times I still need the private messages. Some users I need to contact have friends only palpads, some don't have a palpad yet and some just send you a private message. I've been on the site for a year now and if you can't delete the messages you get on private messages they start to add up and slowly become overwhelming.

Full support - I have a ton of those "Hi" messages that literally have only hi in them and nothing else so I would really love to be able to get rid of those and keep only the important ones.

I have pms from the first day that I joined, I still use PMs, and it's just a mess. I support being able to delete pms, completely.

And if both users remove it, the messages could be deleted from the server, freeing up a little bit of room each time both users remove everything.

I love this idea as it just helps to get the records clean and next time when we visit our private messages tab it would'nt be clumpsy at all.

also there should be a time-limit until you can delete the PM like 10 days or something kthxbye

Full support. Too many one word or one way interactions that I would love to be able to delete. I also think the time limit before you can delete is also a good idea to also help with reporting issues and clutter.

I was so disappointed when I noticed you still can't delete private messages after the new update to the PM system. Wwwhhhhyyyy?? I don't understand. On every other game I have ever played you're able to delete your private messages.
