Auction outbid
Forum-Index → Suggestions → Implemented → Auction outbid^Made by me :D
There are more I think, I'll try to find them, since it doesn't relate much...
Edit - Here? I'll try to check more.
But anyway, if I can't find any more that relates to your suggestion, my argument is ; the Auction House is based on the real life auction house, you can't just take back your money, you need to wait until the auction ends. This could be abused if it was ever implemented anyway.
Edit 2 - Already suggested many times, not rejected. My fault.

For example, if you've got 100 PD and you bid 50 PD on an auction, you will have 50 PD left. Say then someone bids 60 PD, you can still bid 70 PD. You will then have 30 PD. When I first joined, I thought I would have to have over 70 PD to out-bid them, but you don't; you just need enough to add on to what you already bid. :)
This is why I usually don't bid large amounts on auctions that will be running for a while. I don't tend to bid unless the auction is less than a day, a little over a day if it's something I really want.
No support, simply because it isn't really necessary.

From what I understand while reading your posts - especially the parts I quoted above - you also don't completely understand the bidding system? (If you do and I simply misunderstood your post(s), then I'm sorry.)
Anyways. For making things easier to understand (hopefully), I shall pick up your example from above.
Your savings: 120,000 PD.
You bid on a Registeel auction. Your bid: 100,000 PD.
Your savings after placing the bid: 20,000 PD.
Someone then outbids you. Their bid: 105,000 PD.
Now you want to bid, let's say, 110,000 PD. And from what I understand, your point was that you couldn't bid on the auction again, because you only had 20,000 PD left, right? If yes, then that's not entirely true.
If you want to bid on the same auction again, you still have the whole amount of 120,000 PD. It's just that you already bid 100,000 PD earlier, so they won't show up in your userbar, but are still there; technically anyways. So, if you want to bid on that Registeel again, you can do that. Just type in the new amount (110,000 PD, like mentioned earlier) and your bid will successfully be placed - since you already bid 100,000 PD on that very same Registeel auction before, only the additional 10,000 PD are taken from your savings.
You can, however, not bid on another high priced auction until the auction ended and you get your money back (in case you lost the auction), true that.

But I don't support.
It's supposed to be like real life auctions.
You don't get to just get your money back in the middle.

I would like to say though, for the argument "it's supposed to be like real life auctions", this is not how real life auctions work. They do not take money from you in the middle of an auction and keep it until the end of the auction. Bids are placed and then the money is collected from the winner after the end of the auction.
