What I'm suggesting here is something to help prevent accidently putting shiny pokemon in the normal wondertrade station when you intended it to be in the shiny WT, I was thinking that when your putting a shiny pokemon in the normal WT station, there will be a popup saying:

"Are you really sure you want to set up this SHINY pokemon for wondertrade? If you want a shiny pokemon back, you should put in the Shiny wondertrade station instead, do you want to put this shiny in the shiny wondertrade"
"Yes" "No"

Why I am suggesting this?
Well, I've heard that some users have accidently put their shinies in the normal wondertrade station, and when they found out it, was too late, "Pffft yeah. Their mistake!" You may be thinking, but I just feel sorry for those people, it hasn't happened to me, but this suggestion is directed towards the people who unfortunately have had it happened to them.

So...
Support or no support? If you don't support, I would like to know why you don't support, I won't get offended or anything.

Full support! This happened to me once, due to my carelessness. It would be helpful for other users, so that they don't make the same mistake, and lose their valuable shinies through a small oversight.

I've actually worried about this! I'm getting close to starting to do Shiny hunts, and I keep worrying "What if when I start Hunting, I accidentally put in a Pokemon that I was hunting for, like, a month?!" and then there's the fact that some people are putting up Mega-able Pokemon and other Shiny Pokemon and constantly saying that they want a shiny in return. That would cut down the amount of trades you have to look through! I TOTALLY support this! :D

Edit: Seems it was really late when I wrote this, and I must have been tired, because I misunderstood a lot. ANYWAYS! Disregard all I said, but I still think it would be a very fun thing to have! (Helps with shiny dex, possibly?)

Edit: Actually, ignore what I said both times, because I was close to going to bed the first time, and had just woken up the second time, and didn't know what I was talking about. Still think it would be good.

I don't see that this is in any way necessary. There are enough details to tell both apart.
1. Of the three parts you can enter in the wonder trade the one you are in is shown on the top in a light colour.
2. The animation of the shiny wonder trade shows shinies the other one doesn't.
3. The caption that tells you when the next wonder trade is says 'next wonder trade' for the normal one and 'next SHINY wonder trade' for the shiny one.
4. The overall caption of the page also says 'SHINY wonder trade'. So does the URL.
5. The Ho-Oh pic on the bottom is shiny for the shiny wonder trade and normal for the other.
6. (just usable in the first two days after the shiny wonder trade took place) The time that shows when the next trade is due will say something like 'In x DAYS and y hours' instead of 'In x HOURS and y minutes'.

That are 5 and a half possibilites to tell both apart. I'm pretty sure that's enough.

I support this, in part because I actually DID this, prior to the animation being added. I didn't scroll down far enough to see the change in the Ho-oh and why would I check the url or the Ho-oh image when I'd done it how many times before?

So I can see where, if you're not paying attention or in a hurry, it CAN happen, even with the new animation at the top.

I also do NOT see where a brief alert hurts anything. It would allow new traders a moment longer to double check everything's in order, and regular traders would realize something may be off.

Yes, this suggestion is pretty old, but I support this as well! I have lost 2 shinies in the normal wondertrade after getting the notification, clicking on it (which sends you to your wondertrade history), clicking the "back to wondertrade" button (which automatically puts you in the normal wondertrade, regardless of what your last pokemon traded was) and putting the shinies up without realizing it was the normal wondertrade and not the shiny one, until they were traded that is :').
Yes, there are some factors already to tell the normal and shiny wondertrades apart, but they can be difficult to see when you're tired or in a rush and are just tunnel-focused on getting the mons in there. All of the visual queues are pretty far away from the button that actually allows you to put a pokemon in the wondertrade, plus these visual queues would be even MORE difficult to see for colorblind players (I find this issue in other places on site as well, like the gem cauldron).

While the overall screens do look different, I don't think they look different enough around the main focal point of the station (which I have highlighted in these images to show how similar they are), so adding a pop-up box just to make sure may be helpful for many players when we are in a rush or being a bit careless while not negatively affecting anyone else.

Ignore how messy they are lol

^Notice how the parts people look at to actually perform the action of setting a pokemon up for trade (ie. the focal points), are not actually distinct from each other.
