Some people like to figure out what the Event Pokemon is for themselves, and interacting with others will probably remove that experience. I thought that maybe until you received the Event Egg, or once the Event is over, the sprite for the new Event (i.e. Knight Axew) and its evolutions shouldn't be there.
I was hoping to figure out the Event for myself, but oh well. I interacted, and I found out what it was. I was wondering if this was possible; it's kind of like the Harvest Sprite thing except you're allowed to tell others now.
Some people might not like this idea, so maybe in the Settings there should be a part where you're allowed to turn this off and on. :3

its nice to have events but its indeed very spoilable unfortunatelly :/

and why not implement a thing like you cant sell the event pokimon before the event is fully over to avoid spoiler on gts and auctions no?!

No, I think just hiding the sprite is okay. ^^ Some people do want to trade the Pokemon for other things.

We don't need to hide the spirits if you don't want to see what they look like then don't look at them. NO SUPPORT.

How, exactly do you propose that? Hiding the sprites would be so much easier. You'll also know what the name of the Pokemon is as well. -.- Also, it's sprites, not spirits.

I actually support this - You get them spoiled while you are interacting if nothing else so you cannot exactly "not look at them" to avoid being spoiled.

I see why it would simplify something...
But I really dislike when I'm clicking for the event (and excited to learn what it is) when I click one of the current Event Pokemon and see what it is. Support!
